Health Ping - Live Heartbeat HUD

Today i am bringing you a very highly requested addon for your survival worlds. Minecraft survival can be very scary especially when you are fighting big bosses or exploring the deep dark biome with the warden. The vanilla health bar is okay but sometimes when you are panicking you dont even look at it and then you just die instantly. You dont know exactly how much health you have left. I wanted to make the health system feel more immersive and intense. So i made the RR Health Ping addon. This behavior pack puts a custom live health HUD right in the middle of your screen so you always know your exact HP without looking away from the fight.

​The Heartbeat HUD

So when you load into the game you will see a new heart bar right on your screen. It shows your exact health numbers like 20/20. But the crazy part is the heartbeat system. As your health gets lower you will actually start hearing a heartbeat sound in the game. If you are at 50 percent health the heartbeat is slow. But if you drop down to like 10 percent health the heartbeat gets super fast and loud. It genuinely makes you panic and adrenaline rush when you are trying to run away from a creeper. Oh and if you want to turn the whole thing off you can just hold a Blaze Rod and sneak and it toggles the HUD off completely. I added that so it doesnt annoy you when you are safe in your base doing nothing. The heart bar also changes color from green to yellow to red when you are dying. When you finally eat food and heal back to full health it plays a really satisfying totem sound and tells you that you are fully healed.

​Clutch Survivals and Records

I added a really fun tracking system into this pack because i love seeing my stats. If you take massive damage and drop below 15 percent health but you manage to run away and heal back up, the game detects it as a Clutch. A big title pops up on your screen saying CLUTCH and it plays a loud level up sound. It tracks your best clutches forever. If you hold a Book and sneak it opens a huge UI stats menu. In this menu you can see exactly how many times you healed, how many times you fully recovered, and your lowest survived health record. Like if you fall off a cliff and survive on literally 0.5 hearts, the game records that as your absolute best clutch record. It makes surviving close calls feel like a huge achievement. You also get milestone titles on your screen if you get 50 clutches or heal 1000 times like UNKILLABLE or IMMORTAL.

​Custom Settings Menu

I know some people dont like too much noise on their screen so everything is fully customizable. If you hold a Name Tag and sneak it opens the settings menu. Here you can actually turn off the heartbeat sound if it makes you too anxious. You can also turn off the text warnings or hide the HP numbers. There is a slider where you can set your own custom warning threshold. By default the game warns you when you drop below 30 percent health but you can change it to 50 percent or 10 percent depending on how you play. You can also reset all your stats from this menu if you want to start a fresh playthrough.

​Beta APIs Setup

You absolutely must turn on the Beta APIs in your world experiments. Because this pack uses background scripts to check your exact health values and tracks your clutch moments using dynamic properties, if you dont enable Beta APIs none of the menus will open and the custom HUD will not show up on your screen at all. So please remember to check your settings before loading the world.
