Hardcore Revive
Hardcore Revive adds one final chance to Hardcore Mode without removing the risk of permanent death.
Instead of dying immediately after taking fatal damage, the player enters a downed state. While downed, they cannot move, attack, break or place blocks, craft, use items, or interact with the world. Their teammates then have five minutes to find and rescue them.
To perform a rescue, another player must crouch, stay close, look at the downed teammate, and maintain the rescue action until the progress bar is complete. If rescued in time, the player returns with part of their health restored.
If the countdown reaches zero, the death becomes permanent. The player dies, enters Spectator Mode, and can never be revived again.

Does This Make Hardcore Too Easy?
Hardcore Revive is not designed to remove difficulty or guarantee a second life. A successful rescue depends on nearby teammates, distance, available time, and whether the group can safely reach the downed player.
Playing alone remains extremely dangerous, and even a coordinated team can fail a rescue. Permanent death is still the final consequence.
The add-on simply replaces instant death with one last moment of tension, cooperation, and decision-making, creating more dramatic multiplayer adventures without removing the core spirit of Hardcore Mode.
