FIXED: aircraft no longer disappear when you leave the area or reload the world - parked planes stay put
NEW: Heading Lock — pins your compass course hands-free; your view no longer steers, so climb, dive and throttle stay free (new hotbar item, airborne only)
NEW: Parking Brake + Run-Up Boost — planes now spawn braked; strong pads hold you against full power. Spool to 80%+ throttle, release, and earn stronger acceleration plus a shorter takeoff roll — the takeoff bar turns green and shows the shorter run
UPDATED: Cruise Lock — now eases the nose to level on engagement; looking up or down no longer tilts the plane while left/right steering stays manual
NEW: White wingtip trails, touchdown gear smoke and critical-hull engine smoke — with a Show Flight Effects toggle in Settings for low-end devices
NEW: HUD hold badges — BRK ON / HDG ON / ALT ON show active holds right on the HUD
NEW: What's New tab in the in-game Flight Manual (now 11 sections)
FIXED: Touchdown detection — landings now register reliably on narrow strips and edge landings.
