--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
0. NOTICE TO THE USER — READ THIS FIRST
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
0.1. This is NOT an open-source licence. This is NOT a Creative Commons licence.
This is NOT a public-domain release. This is a proprietary, all-rights-
reserved end-user licence with an extremely narrow grant of permission.
0.2. The Works are licensed, never sold. You receive a limited permission to
play with them and to talk about them. You do not receive ownership,
co-ownership, economic rights, a share of revenue, a right to copy for
others, or any right to build upon the Works for third parties.
0.3. If you do not accept every term of this Agreement, you have no permission
to download, install, open, run, inspect, stream, archive or retain any
part of any Work. Your only remedy is to stop and to delete every copy.
0.4. Acceptance is automatic and immediate upon any of the following acts:
clicking download; starting a download; receiving a file from any source;
placing the pack in a world; launching a world with the pack enabled;
extracting an archive; opening a script or a texture in any editor;
viewing an embedded asset through a tool; streaming or recording gameplay
that contains the Works. No signature is required for this Agreement to
bind you.
0.5. Where the law of your country grants you rights that cannot be waived
(for example mandatory consumer rights in the European Union or the
Russian Federation's mandatory rules on consumer protection), nothing in
this Agreement removes those rights. Every other provision stands.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. DEFINITIONS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1.1. "Studio" means Onyx Meridian Interactive Studio, an independent creative
studio, together with its founder, any future officer, employee,
contractor, commissioned artist, or rights successor.
1.2. "Author" means WowDot, the founder of the Studio and the human creator of
every Work published to date, including all code, art, text and design.
1.3. "Work" (plural "Works") means any creative product distributed by the
Studio, in whole or in part, in any form and at any level of completion,
including releases, pre-releases, betas, snapshots, hotfixes, abandoned
builds, internal test builds, prototypes and demos.
1.4. "Project" means a named Work or a family of Works published under one
title, for example the project "Gloamguise: False Facades".
1.5. "Component" means any separable element of a Work, including but not
limited to:
(a) source code, compiled code, scripts, behaviour-pack logic, custom
components, event handlers, state machines, algorithms, formulas,
lookup tables, registries, hashing and encoding schemes;
(b) configuration, manifests, block/item/entity definitions, state and
permutation tables, loot tables, recipes, tags, culling rules,
render controllers, animations, attachables, particle definitions;
(c) three-dimensional models and geometries, UV layouts, pivots, bone
structures, material definitions;
(d) every pixel of every texture, sprite, icon, tile, glyph, cover,
banner, thumbnail, screenshot, concept sketch, and UI element;
(e) every word of every documentation file, description, tutorial,
changelog, FAQ entry, in-pack string and localisation line;
(f) names, identifiers, namespaces (for example the "gg:" namespace),
and the titles of the Works and the Studio;
(g) the selection, sequence, arrangement and internal structure of all
of the above, which is itself protected as a compilation;
(h) all copyright-management information ("CMI") as defined in Article
7, including any visible credit line and any invisible marker.
1.6. "Official Channel" means exclusively:
(a) the Studio's own project pages on CurseForge under the author name
WowDot / Onyx Meridian; and
(b) any other distribution point that the Studio announces in writing
from yarik.internet @ atomicmail.io.
Social posts, videos, reposts and community mirrors are never Official
Channels, even when they link to one.
1.7. "Licensed Copy" means a copy of a Work obtained by you directly from an
Official Channel, unmodified except for a Private Edit permitted by
Article 4.2, and retained by you for as long as this Agreement remains in
force for you.
1.8. "Private Edit" has the meaning given in Article 4.2.
1.9. "Public Release" means any act that makes a Work, a Private Edit, a
modified build, a derivative, or a sufficiently similar recreation
available to any person other than yourself, including uploading,
posting, sharing, messaging, streaming a download link, hosting, seeding,
publishing, distributing inside a bundle, or deploying on a server that
other people may join.
1.10. "Redistribution" means any supply of a copy of a Work or of a Component,
whether free, paid, gated, ad-supported, bundled, mirrored, cached for
download, or included inside another product.
1.11. "Bundle" means any collection, modpack, "addon pack", "mod app",
installer, launcher, server pack, marketplace listing, APK, executable,
ISO, archive or dataset that contains a Work or a Component alongside
other content.
1.12. "Derivative" means any work that is based on, adapted from, translated
from, ported from, refactored from, or otherwise created with reference to
a Work or a Component, including a work that reproduces its structure,
logic, look, function, identifier scheme or documentation with cosmetic
changes only.
1.13. "Commercial Use" means any use in, by or for a business, or any use that
directly or indirectly generates money, goods, services, traffic, data,
advertising inventory, donations solicited for the content, subscriptions,
sponsorships, or other economic value, including use in a paid server,
paid access, paid download, paid build, paid commission, or paid course.
1.14. "AI System" means any machine-learning or generative system, including
large language models, code assistants, image, audio or video generators,
embedding models, retrieval systems, datasets, and any pipeline that
performs training, fine-tuning, distillation, evaluation, style transfer,
dataset construction, or automated rewrite of code or art.
1.15. "Reverse Engineering" means decompiling, disassembling, decoding,
unpacking, decrypting, deobfuscating, tracing, extracting embedded data
from compiled artefacts, or otherwise deriving source-level or design-level
information from a Work, except to the strict extent such restriction is
expressly prohibited by mandatory law.
1.16. "Studio Marks" means the names "Onyx Meridian", "Onyx Meridian
Interactive Studio", the Studio emblem, the wordmark, and all associated
logos, colour schemes and trade dress.
1.17. "Legacy Licence" means the licence text distributed with releases up to
and including version 2.1.4 of the Project "Gloamguise: False Facades",
titled "PROPRIETARY END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA) — Custom All-Rights-
Reserved License with Limited Personal Use & Private Edit Grant", in its
English and Russian versions.
1.18. "Term" means the period during which this Agreement is in force for you,
starting at acceptance under Article 0.4 and ending upon termination under
Article 12.
1.19. "You" / "Licensee" means the natural person accepting this Agreement. A
company, team, community, server network or organisation cannot be a
Licensee and gains no rights by acquiring a copy through its members.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. STUDIO IDENTITY, OWNERSHIP AND RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.1. Every Work is the original creation of the Author and is published under
the Studio's name. Copyright, neighbouring rights, database rights, moral
rights, trade dress and all other intellectual-property rights in the
Works belong to WowDot as author and rights holder, exercised through the
Studio. Nothing in this Agreement transfers, assigns or licenses any of
those rights beyond the narrow permission in Article 4.
2.2. The Author is identified, and must remain identified, as the creator of
each Work. The Studio's authorship is a matter of fact and of law, not a
matter of marketing preference, and may not be contested, obscured or
presented as anonymous, "community-made", "AI-generated" or "publicly
sourced".
2.3. The Studio retains the exclusive right to:
(a) publish, reproduce, distribute, translate, adapt and license the
Works, in whole or in part;
(b) create sequels, prequels, spin-offs, remasters, ports and editions;
(c) withdraw, suspend or terminate any distribution at any time;
(d) set prices, run events and choose distribution platforms;
(e) register trademarks, designs, and any other protection it deems
appropriate, in any jurisdiction.
2.4. All rights not expressly granted in Article 4 are reserved. There are no
implied licences. Silence, tolerance, delay, or a friendly reply in a
comment section is not a licence and creates no estoppel.
2.5. The Works are protected, among others, by the Berne Convention for the
Protection of Literary and Artistic Works; the WIPO Copyright Treaty and
WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty; the Agreement on Trade-Related
Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS); the Digital Millennium
Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq., including § 1201 and § 1202; the
Directive (EU) 2019/790 on copyright in the Digital Single Market,
including Article 4(3); the national copyright laws of the member states
of the European Union; and Part IV of the Civil Code of the Russian
Federation (Articles 1225–1302, 1259, 1260, 1263, 1266, 1268, 1270, 1281,
1299, 1300, 1301).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. SCOPE OF THE GRANT — WHAT THE STUDIO ACTUALLY PERMITS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Subject to complete and continuous compliance with Articles 4, 5, 6 and 7, the
Studio grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-
transferable, non-sublicensable, non-assignable, royalty-free permission,
worldwide, to do exactly and only the following:
3.1. PLAY.
Install the Licensed Copy and use it in single-player worlds, LAN worlds,
Minecraft Realms and multiplayer servers, provided the Works themselves
are never sold, gated, unlocked by payment, or offered as a standalone
download from your side.
3.2. SHOW.
Record, stream and publish gameplay, tutorials, showcases, reviews,
critiques, speedruns and "how to build" videos that contain the Works, and
monetise that content through the standard revenue systems of the
platform you publish on (advertising programmes, platform creator funds,
ordinary channel memberships that grant no access to the Works).
3.3. LINK.
Point your audience to the Official Channel, using the exact project page
URL, without URL shorteners, without redirect networks, and without
gating the link behind follows, likes, subscriptions, bot commands,
captchas, Telegram/Discord joins or any other condition.
3.4. TALK.
Discuss, quote, screenshot and critique the Works, including quoting short
passages of the documentation, provided the quotation is honest, is
clearly attributed, and does not function as a substitute for the Work.
3.5. EDIT FOR YOURSELF.
Perform Private Edits as defined in Article 4.2.
3.6. BACK UP.
Keep one personal archival copy of the Licensed Copy on storage that you
control, for the sole purpose of restoring your own installation.
That list is exhaustive. Anything not listed is prohibited, even if it seems
harmless, obvious, "just a copy", "just for friends", or "technically normal
for the modding scene".
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO EVERY PERMITTED USE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4.1. ATTRIBUTION — always, everywhere, without exception.
Any public communication that features a Work must credit the Studio in a
legible way: "Gloamguise: False Facades by Onyx Meridian (WowDot)" or the
equivalent for the specific Project, placed in the video description, the
post body, the stream panel or the article header — not hidden in tags.
4.2. PRIVATE EDIT — the definition and its hard limits.
(a) You may modify the Licensed Copy (scripts, values, recipes, text,
textures, geometry) on devices you own or exclusively control.
(b) The Private Edit must serve only your own private, non-commercial,
non-public enjoyment inside your own household.
(c) A Private Edit must never leave your devices and must never be shown
as a downloadable or obtainable artefact. Showing a Private Edit in a
video is permitted only if no file, link, archive, repository, paste or
"DM me" offer is provided, and only if the video itself is compliant
with Article 4.1.
(d) A Private Edit must not be used to create a competing publication, to
prepare a Derivative for others, or to test a concept that is later
rebuilt independently for public release.
(e) The moment a Private Edit is shared, offered, described in sufficient
detail to be reconstructed, or used for any Commercial Use, the entire
permission granted by this Agreement terminates for you, permanently.
4.3. NO SEPARATION.
You may not separate, extract, reuse or publish any Component outside the
Work it belongs to, even if that Component is a single texture, a single
line of script, a single recipe JSON, or a single paragraph of text.
4.4. NO IMPLIED ENDORSEMENT.
You may not state or imply that the Studio endorses, sponsors, approves,
partners with, or is affiliated with your content, server, product,
channel, mod, community or service.
4.5. NO TRADEMARK USE.
You may not use the Studio Marks, the Project names, or the "gg:"
namespace as or within a name, logo, domain, handle, application title,
server name, product name, hashtag campaign, or keyword-advertisement
trigger, except for accurate, non-prominent, descriptive references such
as "review of Gloamguise: False Facades".
4.6. KEEP EVERY MARKER INTACT.
You may not remove, alter, obscure, crop out, cover, translate away,
re-encode or strip any credit line, copyright notice, pack icon, pack
title, description field, localisation credit, or invisible CMI marker.
4.7. COMPLIANCE WITH PLATFORM RULES.
Your use must simultaneously comply with the Minecraft End User Licence
Agreement, the Minecraft Commercial Usage Guidelines, and the terms of the
platform that distributes the Works. This Agreement never grants you a
right that those documents withhold.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. ABSOLUTE PROHIBITIONS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Without prior written permission issued by the Studio from
yarik.internet @ atomicmail.io, you must not do — and must not permit, enable,
assist, fund or instruct any other person or automated system to do — any of
the following:
5.1. DISTRIBUTION AND REDISTRIBUTION
(a) upload, re-upload, mirror, repost, cross-post, host, seed or share a
Work or any Component on any website, forum, blog, cloud drive,
messenger, chat group, file locker, torrent, IPFS pin, Usenet group,
Discord channel, Telegram channel or bot, VK community, subreddit,
gist, paste service, or repository;
(b) publish a Work on any mod portal, aggregator, "mod app", "addons for
Minecraft" application, APK site, store listing, or marketplace,
including portals that claim to host only "official mirrored" files;
(c) include a Work in a Bundle, modpack, server pack, resource-pack
collection, "starter kit", "survival setup", "one-click installer",
launcher, patcher, or auto-updating client;
(d) supply a Work as part of a paid or unpaid commission, tutorial
package, course, template, asset store item, "premium build" or
server setup service;
(e) distribute a Work to a private group "just for friends", including
via direct message, e-mail attachment, temporary link, or expiring
file transfer;
(f) publish a Work as an "archive", "backup", "preservation copy",
"abandonware", "historical version" or "mirror of a removed file";
(g) distribute a Work in a form that has merely been renamed, re-zipped,
re-signed, re-packed, re-uuid'd, compressed differently, split into
parts, or wrapped in another archive.
5.2. DERIVATIVES, FORKS AND PORTS
(a) create, publish or distribute a Derivative of any Work;
(b) fork, "continuation", "revival", "community edition", "patched
edition", "fixed edition", "lite edition" or "remastered edition" of a
Work;
(c) port a Work or any Component to another game, engine, platform or
format — including porting between Minecraft Bedrock and Java Edition,
or into any other sandbox, engine, framework or application;
(d) recreate a Work's signature function, structure or presentation with
cosmetic changes, including "inspired by", "similar to", "spiritual
successor to" or "built from scratch after studying" releases;
(e) use a Work as a specification, reference implementation, test oracle or
feature list for a competing or substitute product;
(f) translate the Works, in whole or in part, for any public release,
including "unofficial localisation packs", "community translations"
and machine-translated variants.
5.3. ASSET AND CODE REUSE
(a) copy, extract, re-export, re-render, re-photograph, trace, vectorise,
recolour, upscale, palette-swap, re-tile, re-stitch, crop into tiles or
otherwise reuse any texture, icon, model, geometry, animation or
sound;
(b) copy, extract, adapt, refactor, rename, minify, beautify, transpile or
re-implement any script, algorithm, formula, registry format, state
encoding scheme, culling rule, geometry JSON or recipe JSON;
(c) reuse the "gg:" namespace, the state names, the internal identifiers,
the file layout or the localisation key scheme;
(d) copy the documentation text, the FAQ, the changelog, the description
page, or any table of items, blocks or recipes;
(e) use any Component inside your own mod, addon, map, texture pack, data
pack, UI pack, shader, application, game or product, free or paid.
5.4. COMMERCIAL EXPLOITATION
(a) sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute for a fee, or include
in any paid product or paid service;
(b) place behind a paywall, subscription, "premium tier", Patreon gate,
Boosty gate, donation goal, "members only" post, or paid membership;
(c) monetise access through link shorteners, redirect advertising, captcha
farms, "download managers", "unlockers", mirror-locker sites, or
pay-per-download networks;
(d) use the Works to advertise, promote or increase the value of any
product, server, hosting plan, marketplace, course or service;
(e) run a server whose revenue depends specifically on access to the
Works, or sell ranks, kits, keys or items whose value derives
substantially from the Works;
(f) offer paid installation, paid configuration, or paid support whose
sole or main subject is a Work;
(g) tokenise, fractionalise, mint, sell or in any way commercialise the
Works or any Component as a digital collectible, NFT, blockchain
asset, cryptocurrency offering, or financial instrument;
(h) produce physical merchandise, print-on-demand items, apparel, toys,
posters, plushies, cards or packaging bearing the Works or the Studio
Marks without a separate signed licence.
5.5. CIRCUMVENTION AND INTEGRITY
(a) remove, disable, bypass or neutralise any technical protection,
watermark, marker, signature, integrity check or identifier;
(b) alter a Work and continue to present the altered build as the original
or as "official";
(c) create, distribute or use a tool whose primary purpose is to extract,
strip, rebuild or re-sign the Works;
(d) misrepresent the origin of a copy, including false "official mirror",
"authorised reupload", "with permission" or "leaked but allowed"
claims;
(e) impersonate the Studio, the Author, a Studio representative, or a
support channel;
(f) use the Works in malware, cheat clients, account-stealing builds,
unauthorised paid-access launchers, or any software that harms users.
5.6. DATA AND AI
(a) collect, scrape, crawl, harvest or index the Works, their files, their
published pages or their metadata for any purpose other than ordinary
personal browsing;
(b) include the Works or any output derived from them in any dataset,
corpus, benchmark, evaluation suite or training set;
(c) train, fine-tune, distill, evaluate, prompt-engineer against, or
otherwise develop any AI System using the Works (Article 6);
(d) present AI-generated output that imitates a Work as an official Work,
a sequel, an update or a Studio product.
5.7. FALSE AUTHORSHIP AND BRAND ABUSE
(a) claim authorship, co-authorship, "original idea", or shared ownership
of any Work;
(b) rename a Work, replace its icon, remove its author line, alter its
pack title or description to obscure origin;
(c) publish under a different studio, team or brand name, or present a Work
as part of a "collection", "series" or "network" you control;
(d) use the Studio Marks in a way that suggests you are the Studio.
5.8. LEGAL AND ETHICAL MISUSE
(a) use the Works in violation of any applicable law, including export,
sanctions and consumer-protection law;
(b) use the Works in content that promotes hatred, harassment, or illegal
activity, or in any material that would damage the Studio's reputation
through association;
(c) use the Works to build a product that infringes the rights of Mojang,
Microsoft, or any other third party.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, MACHINE LEARNING AND TEXT-AND-DATA MINING
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6.1. The Studio expressly reserves all rights to the Works for the purposes of
text and data mining, including under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU)
2019/790 and any equivalent provision in any jurisdiction. This
reservation is made in a machine-readable form through this Article and
through the robots/opt-out statements published with the Works.
6.2. You must not use any Work, any Component, any published page describing a
Work, or any capture of a Work, to develop, train, fine-tune, distill,
validate, benchmark, style-transfer, embed, index or retrieve-augment any
AI System, whether the AI System is proprietary, open-weights,
"research-only", "non-commercial" or internal.
6.3. You must not use an AI System to generate a Work-like artefact (code, art,
model, text, localisation, documentation, "clone", "recreation",
"reimplementation") by describing, excerpting, prompting with, or feeding
in the Works, and then publish that artefact.
6.4. You must not use "AI rewrite" as a laundering step: machine rewriting,
paraphrasing, code translation, texture "style transfer" or automatic
refactoring of a Work does not create a new work and does not escape this
Agreement.
6.5. If you operate a crawler, an assistant, a search index or a code
completion service, you must exclude the Studio's pages, repositories and
files, and you must honour an opt-out expressed in plain text.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7. COPYRIGHT-MANAGEMENT INFORMATION, WATERMARKS AND ANTI-CIRCUMVENTION
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.1. Every Work contains visible CMI (author line, pack title, description,
credits) and may contain invisible CMI (embedded identifiers, structural
patterns, ordering choices, zero-width or whitespace markers, hashes).
7.2. Removing or altering CMI is prohibited and is separately actionable under
17 U.S.C. § 1202(b), Article 1300 of the Civil Code of the Russian
Federation, and equivalent provisions elsewhere, independently of any
other breach.
7.3. The Studio maintains evidence of authorship and of each public release:
dated archives, cryptographic hashes, publication timestamps, and copies of
the distribution pages. A copy that matches those hashes is proof of
origin; a copy that matches after cosmetic edits is proof of derivation.
7.4. Circumventing a technical measure that protects a Work is prohibited under
17 U.S.C. § 1201 and Article 1299 of the Civil Code of the Russian
Federation, and may be pursued separately from the copyright claim.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8. MONITORING, EVIDENCE AND ENFORCEMENT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8.1. The Studio may monitor public channels for unauthorised copies using
automated and manual search, hash matching and image similarity. Monitoring
is directed at public material only, not at your private devices.
8.2. On discovery of a breach the Studio may, in any order and without prior
notice: send a takedown notice; report the listing to the hosting platform;
file a DMCA notice with the designated agent; file a notice under the EU
Digital Services Act; report an application to an app store; request
de-indexing; preserve evidence; and pursue the remedies in Article 10.
8.3. The Studio is not obliged to warn, to negotiate, or to explain its
reasoning before acting, and is not obliged to act against every breach it
finds. Selective enforcement is not a waiver (Article 13.4).
8.4. You agree to cooperate in good faith with an investigation: to identify
the source of an unauthorised copy you distributed, and to confirm in
writing that you have ceased distribution and destroyed all copies.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9. DISCLAIMERS, WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9.1. The Works are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any
kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a
particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility with any particular
game version, save-data safety, or uninterrupted operation.
9.2. The Studio is not liable for any loss of data, corruption of worlds,
incompatibility with other packs, damage to devices, loss of profit, loss
of reputation, or any indirect, incidental, special, punitive or
consequential damage arising from the Works, even if advised of the
possibility.
9.3. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you
actually paid the Studio for the Work concerned, which for a free Work is
zero, or to the minimum amount required by mandatory law.
9.4. You are solely responsible for your own compliance, for the content you
publish, and for the acts of any person you enable.
9.5. You agree to indemnify the Studio against third-party claims, damages,
costs and reasonable legal fees arising from your breach of this Agreement
or from your unauthorised use of the Works, to the extent permitted by law.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10. REMEDIES FOR BREACH
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10.1. The Studio may seek, where permitted by the applicable law:
(a) injunctive relief, including preliminary injunctions;
(b) an order for delivery up and destruction of unauthorised copies;
(c) actual damages, including lost licensing revenue and reputational
harm;
(d) statutory damages, including under 17 U.S.C. § 504(c) and Article
1301 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation;
(e) recovery of legal costs, investigation costs and platform fees;
(f) disclosure orders against hosting providers and intermediaries
where available;
(g) additional compensation for the removal of CMI and for circumvention,
which are separate infringements.
10.2. Nothing in this Article limits any right the Studio has under mandatory
law, and nothing obliges the Studio to accept money in place of an
injunction.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11. PRIVACY OF THE LICENSEE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
11.1. The Works contain no telemetry, no analytics, no advertising identifiers
and no network calls to the Studio. The Studio does not collect gameplay
data, world data, personal data or device data through the Works.
11.2. The Studio processes only what you voluntarily send by e-mail or post in
a public comment: your message, your name or handle, and your contact
address. Such data is used to answer you, to keep a record of permissions
granted or refused, and to defend legal claims. It is never sold, never
shared with advertisers, and is deleted on request where the law allows.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12. TERM, TERMINATION AND REINSTATEMENT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12.1. This Agreement runs from acceptance and continues for as long as you
comply with it.
12.2. It terminates automatically, without notice, on the first breach of any
provision of Articles 4, 5, 6, 7 or 14.9.
12.3. The Studio may additionally terminate it at any time, for any reason, by
announcing a new version of the licence or by notice to you.
12.4. On termination you must, within seventy-two (72) hours: stop all use;
delete every copy of every Work and of every Private Edit from every
device, backup, cloud drive and archive; remove every public post, video,
upload and listing that contains the Works; and confirm this in writing if
asked.
12.5. Reinstatement is possible only by a written permission signed by the
Studio and sent from yarik.internet @ atomicmail.io. Reinstatement is
discretionary, may carry conditions, and never restores a right that was
terminated for commercial redistribution.
12.6. Articles 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 13 survive termination.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
13. GENERAL PROVISIONS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
13.1. Entire agreement. This Agreement, together with the Legacy Licence where
Article 14 says it still applies, is the entire agreement about its
subject.
13.2. Severability. If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it is
enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remainder stays in force.
13.3. No waiver. A failure to enforce is not a permission and not a precedent.
13.4. No estoppel from tolerance. Tolerating one unauthorised copy — for a day,
a year, or forever — creates no right and may be revoked at any time.
13.5. Assignment. The Studio may assign this Agreement to a successor entity.
You may not assign it, and any purported assignment by you is void.
13.6. Notices. Notices to the Studio must be sent to
yarik.internet @ atomicmail.io and are effective when acknowledged.
Notices to you may be given by publishing a new version of this
Agreement, by a Studio announcement, or by reply to your message.
13.7. Governing law and forum. This Agreement is governed by the law of the
Russian Federation, without regard to conflict rules, and disputes are
brought before the courts at the Studio's seat (Volgograd, Russian
Federation), except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to

13.8. Language. English is authoritative. The Russian text is an official
translation. Translations into other languages, if any, are unofficial and
are provided for convenience only.
13.9. Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond
reasonable control; this does not suspend your obligations under Article
5.
13.10. No partnership. Nothing here creates a partnership, agency, joint
venture or employment relationship.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
14. LEGACY LICENCE AND TRANSITION TO THE STUDIO LICENCE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This Article exists so that the rights, restrictions and promises created by the
previous project licence are neither lost nor loosened by the move to a studio
licence. It is a bridge, not a reset.
14.1. LEGACY INSTRUMENT.
The Project "Gloamguise: False Facades" was previously distributed under a
custom all-rights-reserved licence (the "Legacy Licence"), versioned with
the releases up to and including v2.1.4 and published in English and
Russian inside the package as LICENSE.txt. The Legacy Licence identified
WowDot as the sole author and rights holder.
14.2. CONTINUITY OF OWNERSHIP.
The Studio is the successor publisher of the Project. Ownership did not
change hands to a third party, was not transferred to any platform, and
was not abandoned. The Studio holds the same rights the Legacy Licence
asserted, plus the additional rights created by this Agreement.
14.3. FORWARD APPLICATION.
From the Effective Date this Agreement governs every copy of every version
of every Work, including copies obtained before the Effective Date and
copies of builds published under the Legacy Licence. No new download is
required for this Agreement to apply.
14.4. NO ENLARGEMENT OF GRANT — THE "STRICTER WINS" RULE.
Where the Legacy Licence and this Agreement differ, the provision that is
more restrictive of the licensee prevails. This Agreement never widens a
permission that the Legacy Licence withheld, and never shortens a
prohibition that the Legacy Licence imposed. In particular, the ban on
re-uploads, mirrors, mobile applications, launcher bundling, renaming,
extraction, porting, commercial sale, paywalls, ad-shorteners and removal
of CMI continues without interruption.
14.5. INCORPORATION BY REFERENCE.
The Legacy Licence is incorporated into this Agreement by reference. Its
definitions ("Protected Work", "Official Source", "Private Personal
Edit", "CMI") keep their meaning and are used interchangeably with the
definitions in Article 1 of this Agreement.
14.6. CLAUSE MAPPING — nothing was dropped.
Legacy section / topic -> Where it now lives
1. Definitions & scope of the Work -> 1.3, 1.5, 14.5
2. Ownership & reservation of rights -> 2.1 to 2.5
3.1 Gameplay everywhere -> 3.1
3.2 Private "for yourself only" edits -> 4.2
3.3 Video / stream / review content -> 3.2, 3.3, 4.1
4.1 No re-upload, mirror, hosting -> 5.1
4.2 No mobile apps, launchers, bundles -> 5.1(b), (c), (d)
4.3 No renaming, rebranding, plagiarism -> 5.7
4.4 No extraction, rewrite, AI loophole -> 5.3, 6.3, 6.4
4.5 No commercial sale, paywalls, shorteners -> 5.4
4.6 No removal of credits or watermarks -> 7.1, 7.2
4.7 No unauthorised AI training -> 6.1 to 6.5
5. Termination, enforcement, takedowns -> 8, 10, 12
Russian-language version of the above -> 14.10 (still valid for
pre-Effective-Date acts)
14.7. SURVIVAL OF ACQUIRED RIGHTS (what users keep).
If, before the Effective Date, you validly acquired a permission under the
Legacy Licence and you acted within it, that act and that permission are
not retroactively converted into a breach. In particular:
(a) videos, streams and reviews published before the Effective Date stay
published, and may keep the description text they already use;
(b) servers and worlds that already run the Project stay running;
(c) Private Edits created before the Effective Date remain lawful as
Private Edits and must stay private;
(d) players who received a copy from an Official Channel keep playing.
Going forward, every continued act must also comply with this Agreement —
most importantly attribution under Article 4.1 and the prohibition on
distribution under Article 5.1.
14.8. WHAT USERS DO NOT GAIN RETROACTIVELY.
(a) An act that was prohibited by the Legacy Licence does not become
permitted because of this Agreement, and does not become forgiven.
(b) No person who redistributed a copy under the Legacy Licence acquires
any continuing right to continue redistributing.
(c) No third party acquires rights by having published a "mirror",
"translation", "port" or "continuation" of the Project before the
Effective Date; such material remains unauthorised and may be
removed as before.
(d) The migration grants no licence to any Component that was extracted,
copied or reused in another product before or after the Effective
Date.
14.9. CHOICE-OF-VERSION RULE.
You may not elect to be governed by the Legacy Licence in order to obtain
a broader permission for future acts. The applicable version is always the
current one, except that a dispute about an act performed before the
Effective Date is assessed under the licence in force when the act was
performed, in combination with the "stricter wins" rule of Article 14.4.
14.10. RUSSIAN LEGACY TEXT.
The Russian version of the Legacy Licence, published inside the package,
remains a valid expression of the same rights for acts performed before
the Effective Date. Where its wording is in tension with this Agreement
for a future act, this Agreement governs, with Article 14.4 applied.
14.11. FUTURE VERSIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
The Studio may publish versions 3.1, 3.2, 4.0 and so on. A new version
takes effect when published, applies to all copies already distributed,
and follows the same "stricter wins" rule relative to every earlier
version. The Studio will keep the version history in Article 16.
14.12. NO ABANDONMENT.
The Studio has not abandoned, and does not abandon, any Work, including
builds that are no longer distributed, are marked "discontinued", or
exist only as an archive. Absence from a store is not a dedication to the
public domain.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15. PROJECT-SPECIFIC RIDERS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15.1. GLOAMGUISE: FALSE FACADES.
(a) The Project, its behaviour pack, resource pack, scripts
(scripts/main.js, scripts/skin_table.js), block and item definitions,
permutation tables, geometries, culling rules, animations, textures,
localisation files, recipes, loot tables and documentation are Works
under this Agreement.
(b) The identifier namespace "gg:", every state name used by the Project,
the camouflage table of 290+ blocks and its 411 permutations, the
biome tint table, and the wireless torch registry format are
protected Components.
(c) The Project's CurseForge page text, tables, FAQ, changelog and
embedded media are Works and may not be copied to another project page.
(d) Distribution of the Project through CurseForge is authorised and
governed also by CurseForge's own terms; those terms regulate hosting
and never transfer ownership of the Project to the platform.
(e) The pack name, author line and version numbering ("v2.x", "v3.x") are
part of the Work and must remain intact in every permitted use.
15.2. FUTURE PROJECTS.
Any work published later under the Studio name is automatically governed
by this Agreement from the moment of publication unless the Studio
attaches a separate written licence to that specific work, in which case
the more specific document prevails for that work and this Agreement
governs everything it does not address.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
16. VERSION HISTORY OF THIS AGREEMENT
