Ready to revolutionize your Minecraft adventures? Ace's Flyerworks addon brings uniquely designed aircraft tailored for specific roles, each with distinct stats and a seamless integration into Minecraft's vanilla progression system.
The SkyHawk is your perfect starter airship. Designed with a boat-like hull, it can land on water and even function as a traditional boat. In the skies, it offers a steady pace, comparable to a player’s running speed. Thanks to its tandem two-seater setup, you can bring along a friend for your aerial adventures. However, note that the SkyHawk cannot move on land, so you’ll need to take off into the air before starting your journey.
Role: Water-landing airship/boat hybrid.
Features: 2-seater, floats on water, medium speed.
Stats: 6 cargo slots | 100 HP | Weak resistance.
Armament:
Autocannon
Crafting the SkyHawk is possible early in the game—before you even enter the Nether. However, you’ll need to find its blueprint first. This can be bought from the wandering trader (If "Enable Recipe Unlocking" is turned on, finding the blueprint is required; otherwise, the SkyHawk is craftable from the start.)
Inspired by the iconic P-51 Mustang and further customized with a unique design, the K-58 Thunderbolt offers a thrilling alternative to the SkyHawk. This aircraft swaps sails and inflatables for wings, allowing for faster speeds. However, this comes at the cost of higher fuel consumption, reduced seating, and less cargo space.
This Redstone- and blaze-powered engineering is the ultimate vehicle for high-speed air travel. With its compact design and blaze-driven propulsion system, the Hovercraft delivers incredible speed and agility. However, it sacrifices seating, durability, and storage capacity for sheer performance. Available only after accessing the Nether, the Hovercraft is an excellent choice for daring adventurers.
Role: High-speed land/air/water traversal. Features: Traverses land/water, inflatable skirt (avoid sharp blocks!), blaze-powered. Stats: 75 HP | Fastest speed (pre-Draken) | No cargo. Armament: None. Obtain: (Updated for 1.5) Requires finding its "Redprint" blueprint, obtained via Piglin Bartering or found in Nether Fortress chests. (The old Blaze Capturer method is no longer used for unlocking).
Inspired by the Me 262 Schwalbe, the Saber is a versatile mid-game jet fighter. It boasts a significant armament upgrade over the Thunderbolt but trades some maneuverability for firepower. Requires Nether progression.
Role: Versatile Mid-Game Fighter.
Features: Jet-powered, heavily armed for its tier.
Stats: 170 HP | Medium Speed | 6 cargo slots
Armament:
AVM (Anti-Vehicle Missile)
APM (Anti-Personnel Missile)
Autocannon
RKT (Unguided Rocket)
UGBS (Unguided Bomb Small)
UGBL (Unguided Bomb Large)
Obtain: Requires finding its "Redprint" blueprint, obtained via Piglin Bartering or found in Nether Fortress chests.
Inspired by the F-35B Lightning II, the Daemon is an advanced multi-role stealth fighter bridging mid and late game. It features high speed, VTOL capability, excellent maneuverability, and a potent missile loadout, making it ideal for challenging encounters like the Ender Dragon. Its stealth grants immunity to homing missiles, but its size makes it vulnerable to direct hits. Requires significant Netherite resources.
The StratoSailer is an advanced, heavily reinforced aircraft that resembles a mechanical anglerfish. Built using materials from the End Portal, its durability is unmatched. Powered by a Shulker core, this remarkable craft doesn’t require fuel and doubles as a weapon, capable of launching levitation projectiles to lift enemies. Its side-by-side two-seater design is perfect for duo exploration, making it a fantastic alternative to the Elytra for End expeditions.
Obtain: (Updated for 1.5) Requires locating its "PurplePrint" blueprint, which can be found inside End City chests. (The old method of entering The End and collecting Shulker bullets is no longer used for unlocking.)
To craft the Shulker core, capture Shulker bullets by clicking/pressing them as if you're attacking them. Once you’ve collected nine Shulker bullets, you can craft the Shulker core. The remaining components, such as Ender Frame, are crafted using Prismarine and End Stone, alongside sails and a seat used in earlier vehicles.
The pinnacle of current Flyerworks engineering. Crafted from rare Nether materials and Shulker shells, the Draken boasts the highest speed via its two flight modes: Subsonic (X-wing) and Supersonic (afterburners). It's durable (Fireproof, Regenerative - pilot NOT protected) and capable of devastating bombing runs alongside missile combat. However, it lacks stealth and is vulnerable to homing missiles.
Designed for interstellar exploration and long-haul travel, the LTX-Hercules prioritizes utility and capacity over combat. With its spacious seating and large cargo hold, this vessel is ideal for transporting up to 12 entities—whether animals, mobs, or players (including the driver). Its high resistance ensures durability, making it a reliable choice for transport, extended journeys, and group expeditions.
The Hercules has two distinct states: Locked and Unlocked, indicated by whether the door is closed or open.
Unlocked State: The door remains open, and any entity that comes into contact with the Hercules will be automatically pulled into a seat.
Locked State: The door is closed, and only players can board the vessel.
You can toggle between these states using the Lock Tool. During state transitions, all riders are ejected, allowing you to forcibly remove entities by locking the Hercules.
Obtain: Requires locating its "PurplePrint" blueprint, which can be found inside End City chests
Inspired by Aladdin, the Magic Carpet is a beginner-friendly flying vehicle that can carry two players. This mystical carpet is fuel-free and glides effortlessly through the air. However, like the SkyHawk, it cannot move on the ground and requires elevation to take off. Its magical nature makes it an excellent discovery for those lucky enough to find it.
- Role: Fuel-free duo glider. - Stats: 20 HP | Low speed. - Obtain: Desert Temple chests.
The magical broom, the classic witches mount, this small yet nimble aircraft is the perfect quick and easy way to the air, the magic broom has the speed comparable to the hovercraft, and like the hovercraft can only be ridden solo, but unlike the hovercraft the magic broom is even more weaker with it small size, with that said the magic broom is still a solid choice for early to mid game aircraft for those lucky enough to find it
- Role: Fragile solo speedster. - Stats: 10 HP | Medium speed. - Obtain: 5% witch loot.
Destroyed craftable Flyerworks vehicles now leave behind a "Wreckage" model instead of disappearing.
Use the new Toolbox item (Right-click or Press-and-Hold) on the wreckage to fully restore the aircraft.
The Toolbox can also be used directly on damaged aircraft to heal them completely.
(Note: Does not apply to non-craftable flyers like Magic Carpet or Broom).
Experimental Chase Camera:
Toggle a new dynamic third-person perspective using the Camera Item for a more cinematic flying experience.
Blueprint System Update (Update 1.5)
Certain mid and late-game aircraft now require their own unique blueprint tiers to be crafted.
Redprint:
The Redprint is now required to craft the Hovercraft, M62 Saber, and F/A-31 Daemon.
Currently, the Redprint can be obtained through:
Piglin bartering Loot chests in Nether Fortresses
2. Purpleprint:
The Purpleprint is required to craft the StratoSailer and XAF-01 Draken.
Currently, the Purpleprint can be found in:
Loot chests within End Cities
More methods for obtaining these blueprint tiers will be introduced in future updates.
Gold Lock (New in 1.6!): Currently used to lock and unlock the LTX-Hercules into its carrying mode. Plans are in place to extend its functionality so it can lock vehicles to a specific owner (player).
Samsite [⛏️ Early Game] (New in 1.6!)
Tired of griefers but not in the mood for dogfighting? The Samsite is your no-nonsense answer. This stationary anti-air cannon is designed to be built, deployed, and used by a single operator to take down pesky aircraft without leaving the ground. It’s easy to craft, durable, and straightforward to repair.
Role: Stationary anti-air cannon
Features: 1-seater, fixed (no movement)
Stats: 150 HP | Medium resistance
Armament:
RKT (Unguided Rocket)
AVM (Anti-Vehicle Missile)
APM (Anti-Personnel Missile)
How to obtain: crafting, learned through the blueprint
Dismantler Wrench: Craft this wrench to pick up your aircraft. Sneak and interact (Right-click/Hold Press) with an empty aircraft to retrieve it as an item. Ensure inventory is empty first, or contents will be lost! Toolbox (New in 1.5): Essential for the new update! Used to repair aircraft wreckage back into functional vehicles and to directly heal damaged aircraft. Camera Item (New in 1.5): Used to toggle the Experimental Chase Camera mode.

As suggested in the roadmap, the next update (whenever it arrives, possibly months away as school getting busy again) will focus primarily on visual and audio feedback. I’ll be working on implementing both particle effects and a sound system to enhance immersion. In addition to that, I also plan to introduce some balancing changes and add new methods for obtaining blueprints, such as through custom structures or interactions with specific entities. So, while the main focus is on feedback systems, you can still expect a bit of new content and gameplay tweaks in the upcoming update.
Notes:
No Experimental Option required
No player.json
Minecraft version: 1.20.30 and higher
