Elemental Totem
Bring elemental power to Minecraft Bedrock! Craft five elemental totems, challenge their bosses, summon them with craftable sigils, and witness dramatic themed meteor arrivals.

Elemental Totems
Hold a totem in your main hand or offhand. When you take fatal damage, it is consumed and activates its elemental survival effects. Obtain totems through crafting or defeat their matching bosses: each boss is configured to drop one corresponding totem.
- Phoenix Totem: Regeneration and extended fire resistance, with fire damage to nearby hostile mobs.
- Ice Totem: Absorption and strong slowing effects on nearby hostile mobs.
- Diamond Totem: Strong absorption, resistance and knockback against nearby hostile mobs.
- Storm Totem: Speed and elemental strikes against nearby hostile mobs.
- Ender Totem: Searches for a safe nearby teleport destination and grants resistance and slow falling.

How to Summon a Boss
Craft its sigil, travel to the required habitat, and use it on a solid block with enough open space. In Survival, the sigil is consumed after a successful summon. Manual summons do not trigger meteor impacts.
Natural Meteor Arrivals
Bosses can arrive near Survival and Adventure players. A check has a 5% attempt chance per minute per eligible player, followed by terrain, weather, distance and population checks. This is not a guaranteed 5% successful spawn rate. A successful arrival starts a 10-minute cooldown.
All five bosses can arrive on open Overworld surface terrain; the Storm Herald requires rain or thunder. Underground Overworld arrivals below Y=0 are limited to the Diamond Colossus. The Nether selects the Phoenix, and the End selects the Sentinel.
A warning announces the incoming boss before its themed meteor descends. Arrivals start about 32–48 blocks from the player.
Meteor impacts damage entities and destroy terrain. They leave themed ground:
- Phoenix: magma and fire.
- Glacial: ice and snow.
- Diamond: calcite and amethyst.
- Storm: blackstone and copper.
- Ender: obsidian and crying obsidian.
Natural arrivals are disabled in Peaceful difficulty and when mob spawning is disabled. Creative and Spectator players are excluded from natural spawn checks and scripted boss attacks.
