Crimson Fruit
Crimson Fruit adds a new naturally generating food item to the Nether: a small, deep-red fruit that grows hanging beneath the caps of crimson fungi.
The Fruit
Crimson Fruit appears naturally in the Crimson Forest, dangling from the underside of huge crimson fungus caps. Roughly 2–4 fruits appear per tree, so a forest feels dotted with them rather than overgrown. Break the fruit — or the block holding it up — and it drops for you to collect.
It cannot be planted or grown with bone meal. You’ll need to explore to find it.
Eating It
- Restores 1 hunger and 0.5 saturation
- Grants 30 seconds of Fire Resistance
- Can be eaten even when your hunger bar is full
- Eating another fruit refreshes the effect to 30 seconds without stacking its duration
Crimson Fruit provides a handy safety net for Nether exploration, lava-heavy builds, and travel. Keep a few nearby for short bursts of protection without replacing longer-lasting potions.
Achievement-Friendly Setup
Crimson Fruit works without cheats or experimental settings, including Beta APIs. Keep them turned off when playing.
Achievement availability is not guaranteed for add-ons installed outside the Marketplace. See Mojang’s official explanation.
