Cozy Spooky & Autumn Harvest

Cozy autumn and Halloween magic for Minecraft Bedrock: cute creatures with their own 3D models, autumn crops, sweet dishes with gentle effects, a flying broom and warm, candle-lit decorations. Nothing here is scary: it is the friendly side of Halloween.

Every creature has its own model, animations and texture, the art follows the vanilla style, and every item explains itself in its description once it is in your inventory. No experiments needed.

Creatures

• Little Sheet Ghost (8 HP): a tiny ghost under a sheet that floats a few blocks above the ground and leaves a trail of little stars. Interact with it for a Pumpkin Cookie (each ghost has one every 5 minutes).
• Pumpkin Pixie (6 HP): a pumpkin with leaf wings that flutters low over your fields and helps the crops within 3 blocks grow faster.
• Plush Bat (6 HP): a soft felt bat that flies a few blocks up.
• Witch's Familiar Cat (10 HP): a dark cat with golden eyes, a little witch hat and an orange knitted scarf. Tame it with Gingerbread Cookies.
• Scarf Raven (6 HP): a raven in a knitted scarf. Tame it with wheat seeds and it follows you around.
• Pumpkin Skunk (10 HP): feed it an Autumn Sweet Potato for Luck I (60 s).
• Straw and Button Scarecrow (20 HP): stays on its post, grows the crops within 5 blocks and gently shoos monsters away without hurting them.

The ghost, the raven, the skunk and the bat spawn on grass in the Overworld. The cat, the pixie and the scarecrow come from their spawn eggs (every creature has its own egg), and the scarecrow's egg can be crafted. None of the creatures drops anything when it dies.

Autumn crops

• Sweet Mini Pumpkins: plant Mini Pumpkin Seeds on farmland. Ripe plants drop pumpkins and seeds.
• Autumn Sweet Potatoes: plant the potato itself on farmland, like a vanilla potato.
• Spectral Berries: plant them on grass or dirt, like sweet berries. Ripe bushes glow softly; pick them by hand.

Breaking grass sometimes gives seeds, a sweet potato or Spectral Berries. Bone meal works on all three.

Sweet dishes

• Spiced Pumpkin Pie: Autumn Warmth for 60 s: Regeneration I and no freezing damage.
• Ghost Marshmallow Cocoa: Speed I for 30 s, and it soothes away Poison and Weakness.
• Creamy Sweet Potato Soup: very filling and long-lasting.
• Gothic Toffee Apple: Night Vision for 60 s.
• Candy Corn Basket: crafts into 4 Candy Corn.
• Pumpkin Cookie, Gingerbread Cookie and Candy Corn: little treats (the cookies are the ghost's gift and the cat's favourite).

Set the table: sneak and use the pie, the cocoa, the soup, the toffee apple or the candy basket on top of a block to set it down as a 3D dish, then interact with it to eat it right there. The candy basket takes four bites. Hot dishes steam and the toffee apple glimmers.

Decorations

• Plush Pumpkin Armchair: interact with it to sit down.
• Autumn Picnic Basket, Cinnamon Tea Cauldron (with steam and little hearts), Potion and Book Shelf (light 7), Floating Candle Ring (light 12) and Cinnamon Candle Cup (light 10): 3D models that turn to face you when you place them, with little particles.
• Cozy Jack o'Lantern (light 15): interact with it to change its face: smiling, sleepy or with heart eyes.
• Paper Garland and Autumn Door Wreath: hang them on the side of a block.
• Autumn Leaf Pile: crunchy leaves you can walk through, with a rustle and a puff of leaves.

Witch's things

• Cozy Witch Hat: a pointed witch hat with its own 3D model. Slow Falling while you wear it.
• Flying Broom: use it on a block to set it down, then ride it. It flies where you look, jump to climb, and it leaves a trail of autumn leaves. Hit it to pick it up.

Sounds

The ghost, the pixie, the bat, the raven, the skunk and the scarecrow have their own voices, and the broom has its own whoosh. The cat keeps the vanilla cat's meows.

All recipes are shapeless except the hat.

• Spiced Pumpkin Pie: 2 Sweet Mini Pumpkins + Sugar + Egg.
• Ghost Marshmallow Cocoa: Cocoa Beans + Sugar + Milk Bucket.
• Creamy Sweet Potato Soup: 2 Autumn Sweet Potatoes + Bowl.
• Gothic Toffee Apple: Apple + Sugar + Spectral Berries + Stick.
• Candy Corn Basket: 3 Wheat + Sugar + Sweet Mini Pumpkin. Candy Corn (x4): Candy Corn Basket.
• Pumpkin Cookie (x8): 2 Wheat + Sweet Mini Pumpkin. Gingerbread Cookie (x6): 2 Wheat + Honey Bottle.
• Cozy Jack o'Lantern: 4 Sweet Mini Pumpkins + Torch.
• Autumn Leaf Pile (x4): 2 Oak Leaves + Orange Dye.
• Cinnamon Tea Cauldron: Cauldron + Sugar + Spectral Berries.
• Paper Garland (x2): 3 Paper + String + Black Dye.
• Autumn Picnic Basket: 2 Wheat + White Wool + Red Dye + Sweet Mini Pumpkin.

• Straw and Button Scarecrow Spawn Egg: Hay Bale + Carved Pumpkin + 2 Sticks + 2 Buttons.

Differences with the Java edition

Bedrock add-ons cannot create new effects, so Autumn Warmth is Regeneration I plus protection from freezing damage, without its own icon. Bedrock cannot add items to vanilla chests without replacing them, so Spectral Berries come from grass instead of village chests. The broom flies like a happy ghast and has no height limit (on Java it stays within 6 blocks of the ground).

Not in this version

The creatures do not use the furniture yet (no cats napping on the armchair), and the pixie, bat, raven and cat have no special night or sleeping behaviours. These are ideas for later versions.
