💥 Chromatic TNT Expansion

80 explosives. One world. Zero chill.

Chromatic TNT adds 80 unique TNT blocks to Minecraft Bedrock. Each one has its own animated texture, fuse, sound and effect. There are atomic bombs and the Tsar Bomba, TNT that breaks time itself, wormholes, volcanoes, rainbow paint and free cake. Throw any of them by hand, fire them from the TNT Launcher, or wire up a field of them to a Remote Detonator.

☢️ The Huge Ones

Big blasts. They may lag for a moment, but they’re built not to crash your game.

• Atomic Bomb: an 8-second siren, a blinding flash, a 16-block crater, a mushroom cloud and a radiation zone.
• Mega Nuke: a 24-block crater, triple shockwaves, a firestorm and a thunderstorm.
• Tsar Bomba: a 15-second countdown, then a 34-block crater that rolls outward in waves. Ash falls for a minute.
• Doomsday Device: a 30-second alarm, the sky goes black, then six nukes go off in a ring.
• Antimatter Bomb: sucks everything in, then deletes a perfect 20-block sphere.
• Hydrogen Bomb: a huge crater that boils away all water within 32 blocks.
• Supernova: a star swells, then bursts into a shell of lava, magma and glowstone.
• Orbital Strike: a target lock, then a laser from orbit burns a 40-block-deep shaft.
• Sky Splitter: a beam from the sky carves a 60-block trench.
• Carpet Bomber and Airstrike: bombs rain down from the sky, with warning rings and whistles.
• Chain Reaction: explosions hop and branch 40 times.
• Earthquake: the ground shakes, splits open and collapses.
• Volcano: raises a basalt volcano that erupts fireballs and lava for 30 seconds.
• Mantle Drill: drills a lit shaft straight down to bedrock.
• Plus the originals: Nuke, Mega, Time Bomb and Black Hole.

🌗 World-Bending

• Day-Night Flicker: day and night switch rapidly for 2 whole minutes.
• Eclipse: instant midnight, creeping darkness and circling phantoms, then a slow sunrise.
• Time Freeze: mobs, arrows and the sun all freeze in place.
• Rewind: it blows up, then rewinds time and rebuilds every block.
• Moon Gravity: giant floaty jumps on a cratered moon surface.
• Superstorm, Blizzard and Acid Rain: weather disasters you can light.
• Aurora: glowing curtains across a night sky.
• Rave: a colour-strobing screen, light beams and a beat.

🐺 Creatures

Wolf Pack (tamed wolves), Creeper Rain (some are charged), Ghast Barrage, Dragon’s Breath, Golem Guard, Instant Farm, Chicken Rain and Zombie Party.

🌋 Terrain Changers

• Crystal: giant amethyst spikes.
• Nether and End: turn the land into another dimension, fog included.
• Forest: grows ten trees instantly.
• X-Ray: turns stone into glass but leaves the ores, so you can see them.
• Pyramid: builds a pyramid with a treasure chest inside.
• Floating Island: rips the ground up into the sky.
• Terraform: flattens a perfect grassy plain.
• Tsunami, Inferno and Spike Trap: rings that roll outward.
• Plus Rainbow, Frost, Magma, Bloom, Midas, Honey, Glitch, Tunnel Bore and Sponge.

🧪 Weird Science

Wormhole, Tesla chain lightning, spinning Laser Grid, Sonic Boom, Magnet, Bubble Trap, Gravity, Vortex, Ender, Shockwave and Smoke Bomb.

🎉 Just for Fun

Piñata (candy and treats, rarely a diamond), Party TNT with free cake, Fireworks, the 60-second Grand Finale firework show, Disco, Bouncy, Geyser and Healing TNT.

🎯 Throwables

Every one of the 80 TNTs has a throwable version. Craft 1 TNT block into 4 throwable sticks. Right-click to throw one, and it sets off the full effect where it lands. The countdown bombs start their siren when they land, so you have time to run.

🚀 TNT Launcher

A cannon that fires any Chromatic TNT in your inventory, whether blocks or throwables, much farther than you can throw. Sneak and right-click to choose your ammo. You get a muzzle flash, smoke, a boom and some recoil. In Creative, every TNT is available with unlimited ammo.

🔴 Remote Detonator

Tap up to 64 TNT blocks to link them, then press the remote in the air to set them all off in sequence. Holding the remote shows which charges are linked. Sneak and use it to clear the links.

🔥 Lighting TNT

Light any of them with flint & steel, a fire charge, redstone, the Remote Detonator, or another explosion for chain reactions.

Crafting

• TNT blocks: each is crafted from vanilla TNT plus themed ingredients. The biggest bombs need other Chromatic TNT:
  • Mega Nuke: 2 Nuke TNT + a nether star.
  • Tsar Bomba: a Mega Nuke + an Atomic Bomb + a nether star.
  • Doomsday Device: 3 Atomic Bombs + a Time Bomb.
• TNT Launcher: iron ingots, a dispenser, TNT and a stone button.
• Remote Detonator: a redstone torch, iron ingots and a stone button.

⚠️ Good to Know

• Lag: the Mega Nuke, Tsar Bomba and Doomsday Device are enormous. Expect a few seconds of lag, especially on low-end devices.
• Flashing lights: the Day-Night Flicker and Rave TNT flash the screen rapidly. Use them with care if you’re sensitive to flashing lights.
• Time effects: if several time-changing TNTs overlap, the real time is restored after the last one ends.
