The Harvester — Grim Reaper × Plague Doctor Boss

The Harvester is a soul-fire boss for Minecraft Bedrock: half Grim Reaper, half Plague Doctor. His skull burns like a torch, teal soul fire pours off his robe and scythe, and every skill he casts is telegraphed so you can read it, dodge it, and fight back.

Requires Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.50+. No experimental toggles needed.
Built on the latest stable Script API (@minecraft/server 2.10.0).

How to fight him

• Summon him with /summon pa:harvester, or find him in The End.
• 550 health, 3 phases. He grows faster and fiercer as his health drops.
• Every skill shows a warning first (sprouting soul wheat, an opening coffin, lit candles, glowing footprints, clock-dial rings), and he stands still while casting.
• His skills hit every creature in their area, not just players: villagers, animals and golems get caught too.
• Enrages after 5 minutes of fighting.

Skills

Phase 1 — Doctor of the Dead

• Reaping Arc: a wide scythe sweep that leaves the ground burning.
• Field of Souls: rows of soul wheat sprout around you, then he reaps the whole field. Stand in the bare furrows.
• Will-o'-the-Wisps: ghost fires drift after you. Sprint to outrun them.
• Candles of the Dead: soul candles light up around you. Stand on one to snuff it, or it erupts and heals him.

Phase 2 — Epidemic

• Plague Pyre: soul fire erupts on the target and spreads to anyone standing nearby. Spread out!
• Footsteps of the Dead: your own footprints ignite. Keep moving and never retrace your steps.
• Buried Alive: a coffin opens beneath you. Step out before the lid slams shut.
• Plague Aura: standing next to him infects you.

Phase 3 — Final Harvest

• Death Sentence: an hourglass runs down over your head. Drink milk to cleanse your plague first.
• Danse Macabre: hooded dancers circle you and close in. Slip out through the gap.
• The Black Death: a killing miasma floods the arena. Hide in a soul lantern's light.
• Final Harvest: the ground fills with soul wheat before a full 360° spin. Stand right next to him, or get out of the field.

The Plague

Most skills add plague stacks (shown above your head). At 5 stacks you burst for extra damage. Stacks fade over time, and milk cures them instantly.

Rewards

Every kill drops:

• 1 Reaper Skull
• 8–12 Souls
• 500 XP

Use them to craft the Harvester Scythe: right-click for Shadow Reap, use it on a mob for Soul Harvest, and it has passive Death Mark, Soul Explosion and Dark Blessing. Also included: the Dark Knight armor set, apples, ingots and steel gear.

📖 Overview

The Harvester adds a terrifying new end-game boss and a full custom progression tier to your Bedrock survival world. Grind through Steel, forge the Dark Knight set, then challenge the Harvester itself — a monster powerful enough to kill a Netherite-geared player in seconds.

Everything in this addon connects together in one progression chain, from your first iron ingot all the way to the Harvester Scythe.

Raw Steel

Craft with Iron Ingot + Coal (L-shape pattern). Smelt in any furnace or blast furnace to get Steel Ingot.

Raw Rast Iron

Craft with Iron Ingot + Coal (reverse L-shape pattern). Smelt to get Rast Ingot (Tast Iron Ingot).

Steel Ingot

Smelted from Raw Steel. Core crafting material for the Steel tier.

Rast Ingot

Smelted from Raw Rast Iron. Used together with Steel Ingot to craft Steel Stick and Steel Sword.

Steel Stick

Crafted from Steel Ingot + Rast Ingot (vertical). Handle for the Steel Sword.

⚔️ Steel Sword

The first custom weapon in the addon. Diamond-level damage with better durability.

✨ Super Smithing

A special upgrade material required to craft every piece of Dark Knight armor. Think of it as the Netherite Upgrade Template of this addon.

💜 Dark Knight Ingots

Two new ingots that form the backbone of the Dark Knight tier. Both are crafted by infusing Soul energy into your existing metals.

Dark Night Ingot

Soul × 8 surrounding Rast Ingot (center). The heavier of the two ingots — used for armor structure.

Dark Soul Ingot

Soul × 8 surrounding Steel Ingot (center). Carries dark energy — used for armor reinforcement and the Harvester Scythe.

Two powerful food items that can be eaten at any time, even at full hunger.

Dark Night Apple

💀 Reaper Skull

An exclusive drop from The Harvester. Used to craft the Harvester Scythe, and can also repair it.

🌿 Soul

A glowing material that drops from The Harvester in large quantities (8 per kill). The foundation of the entire Dark Knight tier — needed for ingots, skulls, and the scythe.

*No crafting recipe — obtained exclusively by killing The Harvester.*

🛡️ Dark Knight Armor Set

A full 4-piece custom armor set with hand-crafted 3D geometry visible on the player. Stronger than Netherite, but requires defeating the Harvester first.

Every piece is crafted by upgrading its Netherite equivalent using Dark Knight ingots and Super Smithing.

The ultimate weapon of this addon. Crafted from the rarest boss materials, it surpasses Netherite Sword in both damage and utility.

Installation

Open the .mcaddon file; Minecraft imports both packs automatically. In your world, enable both the Behavior Pack and the Resource Pack. If you had an older version, delete the old packs under Settings → Storage first.
