What's new
Block Modeler 0.2.0 changelog
Since 0.1.0:
Fixed: Modeler can now talk to Block Display
- 0.1.0 tried to read Block Display's saved data directly. Minecraft keeps each add-on's saved data private, so Modeler couldn't see your selection or block settings.
- The connection now uses tags, a scoreboard and script events instead, which both packs can see. Saving the current selection, placing models, and recognising the Modeler tool now work.
New: stretched blocks are saved
- Blocks you stretched in Block Display keep their stretch when saved into a model, and in every copy you place.
New: placed models are one object
- Every placed copy is a Block Display linked group. Clicking any part with the wand selects the whole model.
- Each copy has a pivot, shown as the yellow knob, and rotating and scaling turn it about that pivot.
- Models save their pivot. Set one on your build or on a placed copy before saving, and future copies use it. If no pivot is set, the bottom centre is used.
- Detach now also unlinks the parts, so they're plain displays again.
