Description

About

Give leftover food a useful purpose with the vanilla composter.

Better Composter Lite lets you compost rotten flesh, poisonous potatoes, raw meat and fish, and cooked meat and fish. Fill the composter, then collect bone meal as usual. Food that already works in the vanilla composter keeps its normal behavior.

Features

  • Rotten flesh — 30% chance to raise the composter's fill level.
  • Poisonous potatoes — 50% chance to raise the fill level.
  • Raw meat and fish — 50% chance to raise the fill level.
  • Cooked meat and fish — 65% chance to raise the fill level.
  • Vanilla bone meal — collect the normal output when the composter is ready.
  • Lightweight — uses the existing composter, with no new blocks, items, recipes, or menus.

How to use

  1. Import the .mcaddon into Minecraft Bedrock and activate the Better Composter Lite Behavior Pack for your world.
  2. Use a supported item on a vanilla composter. In Survival, each attempt uses one item; a successful attempt raises the fill level.
  3. When the composter is ready, collect bone meal normally.

Notes

  • Vanilla-compostable items keep their usual composting chances.
  • A failed attempt still uses one item in Survival, as with normal composting.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.26.50 or newer
  • Better Composter Lite Behavior Pack active in the world
  • No external add-on dependency required
