Description
Easily set up shops in your world!
To set up a shop
1. Place barrel. Whoever places a barrel is automatically the owner. From that moment on, no other player (other than admin) can open your barrel - essentially creating safe storage.
2. Stock items. Each stack must be the same item and have the same amount per stack. Leave the bottom row open for cash deposits!
3. Place sign on a block that is behind/above the barrel. This places the sign above the barrel without having to crouch (sneak) and right-click (interact) the barrel.
4. Crouch (sneak) and interact with the barrel. This opens a menu for players to fill out. Once submitted, the sign will auto-fill with the information.
Buying
Anyone (other than shop owner and admin) who interact with the barrel shop gets a popup menu showing the item, stack size, and price with a "buy" button.
Exact change is pulled from player inventory and swapped with one full matching stack.
Player must have exact change or "Insufficient Funds" will flash across the screen.
Once the shop has no more full matching stacks of items, the sign will have "SOLD OUT" in the last line.
Remove a shop
Crouch/sneak and break the sign. That deactivates the shop and the barrel reverts to plain protected
storage (still owned by the same person, keeps its contents). The barrel itself can't be broken
while a shop is active, by anyone but an admin... you must remove the sign first. Non-owners (or
anyone not crouching) can't break the sign at all.
Admins:
- Can open any barrel, owned by anyone, shop or not... bypassing all storage/shop protection.
- Break any barrel or shop sign without restriction.
- Configure (right-click/interact) any shop sign, not just their own.
