What's new
Apollyon: A Bedrock Horror Experience
Apollyon transforms your world into a hostile environment driven by auditory horror and stalking mechanics. You are actively hunted by unseen forces, requiring acute awareness and new survival strategies.
The Threats
The add-on introduces three core hostile entities that roam the world:
* The Infector: A new roaming enemy that brings a unique threat to the Overworld.
* The Damned: Known for their terrifying shrieks, these entities will relentlessly pursue you.
* The Fallen: A deceptive mob that utilizes sudden jumpscares to catch players off guard.
Custom Mechanics
Driven by a custom JavaScript backend, the mod features a complex stalking system. Players will experience:
* Active Stalking & Hallucinations: The environment plays tricks on you, blurring the line between reality and paranoia.
* Gateway Pursuit: Being spotted triggers high-adrenaline chase music and intense pursuit sequences.
Survival Tools
To endure the hunt, you must rely on custom items and recipes:
* The Rose of Life: A craftable custom block with unique placement and breaking sounds.
* Sustenance & Stew of Life: New consumable items to replenish your health. Sustenance can be prepared using a furnace, smoker, or campfire. Consuming the Stew of Life triggers specific audio effects.
Structures

* Close-proximity audio like shallow breathing, footsteps, and sudden jumpscares.
* Ambient distant noises, including screams, roars, and bellows.
* Specific event sounds like "condemned to die," intense risers, and unique player death audio.
