Andys_Automatic_Doors_0.1.1.mcaddon
What's new
0.1.1 — Calibrated single-door proximity
- Introduced Andy's Automatic Doors: opt-in proximity automation for individual vanilla doors, fence gates, and trapdoors in Minecraft Bedrock.
- Added per-entrance Proximity settings through a crouch-used vanilla
DoorControlstick—unconfigured entrances remain entirely vanilla. - Added operator-only global control through
AdminDoorControland/scriptevent andyautodoors:admin settings. - Built front-and-rear approach zones for doors and gates, a complete one-block perimeter for trapdoors, and a calm one-time open → exit → close cycle with exit grace time and positioned vanilla-style motion sounds.
- Made automatic closing redstone-aware, so powered entrances remain open instead of fighting a build's wiring.
- Added secure optional compatibility with Andy's Locks & Keys 0.11.3+: protected entrances are authorized by Locks & Keys using normal access rules and fail closed when authorization is unavailable.
- Fixed single doors opening from their side instead of the front or rear.
DoorControlnow records the door's real physical approach axis from the face where it is configured, rather than guessing from Bedrock's counterintuitive door-direction state. - Applied the same physical-geometry principle that Better Double Doors uses for paired leaves, giving each individual door a dependable front/rear proximity zone.
- Existing 0.1.0 single-door Proximity settings are safely cleared once. Re-enable Proximity with
DoorControlwhile standing at either actual door face to calibrate it correctly. - Fence-gate and trapdoor Proximity behavior is unchanged.
