Wild rats are afraid of players and will run away until they’re tamed.

They can pick up items and hold them in their mouths — they especially love cheese.

Tame them with cheese; once tamed, they stop fleeing and become loyal companions.

Breeding also uses cheese.
Plants & Decor

Cattail — grows even in water and can reach up to 4 blocks tall. Perfect for shores and swamps.

Yellow grass — a bright decorative accent to enliven fields and gardens.

Short grass — subtle ground cover for fine landscape detailing.

Wild wheat — has 4 growth stages and can grow up to 4 blocks tall.
Roadmap: future updates will add wild-wheat biomes where rats will naturally spawn.

How to Get Started

Find a rat — sneak and offer cheese to tame it.

Dress up riverbanks with cattail, and fields with wild wheat (4 stages, up to 4 blocks).

Build a cozy home from cedar using the new doors and trapdoors.

To breed your tamed rats — use cheese again.
