ISP are proud to show you the lunar Shuttle, the largest cargo shuttle ever built by ISP, with a considerable load capacity, maneuverable and capable of orbiting around the moon, uncoupling rover or probes and returning on Kerbin in safety.
This version is equipped with a rover(full of the latest scientific instruments, including mechanical scanning arm) and 2 satellites (1 for communications, the other to be placed in polar orbit for topographic scansion)
Minimum orbit 260 km(this configuration) - REMOVE AUTOSTAGE (MECHJEB)
- Reach Kerbin's orbit
- Reach Mun
- Orbit Mun(in my test 150 km ~)
- Click on "Open Cargo" action group button
- Click on "Step 1 Rover" action group button(robotic arm will position Rover for release)
- Release Rover , click on "Rover Control" action group button for switch probe control to 'k&k landing control' and easily land on Mun
- Click on "React Wheel" action group button (disable the ROVER flight stabilizers) and explore Mun
- Click on "Step 1 Satellites" action group button and wait 2 seconds
- Click on "Step 2 Satellites" action group button(robotic arm will position Satellites for release)
- Relase LEFT Probe(communications)
- Change orbit inclination to 90°
- Release RIGHT Probe(Topographic)
- Click on "Close Servos" action group button(to reposition all the mechanical arms in the original position)
- Click on "Close Cargo" action group button
- Go back to Kerbin and/or explore Mun with Rover
In this video a rover (which lands easily on Mun) and two satellites (one in polar orbit) are released
