Shared Exploration — Everyone contributes to the same map.

Persistent Discovery — Explored territory stays revealed across sessions and server restarts.

Expanded Exploration — Configurable reveal radius lets you uncover more terrain as you travel.

Vanilla Friendly — Keeps Hytale's familiar map and navigation experience.

Plug & Play — Enabled for everyone by default. No setup required!

🚫 What It Doesn't Do

No teleportation. No commands. No custom waypoints. No extra menus.

Whichaway isn't trying to reinvent the map. It just makes exploring a little more rewarding and lets everyone share in the discovery.

⚙️ Server Configuration

Whichaway creates a whichaway.properties file in its plugin data directory.

Default settings:

explorationRadius=16

persistentExploration=true

explorationRadius — Reveal radius in world chunks (default: 16, minimum: 1).

persistentExploration — Save discovered territory between server restarts (default: true).

Permissions

Everyone can use Whichaway by default. No permissions or commands required!

To disable it for specific players or groups, assign:

whichaway.deny.use

Exploration is shared within each world, with separate discovery data for different worlds.
