A battle-worn warrior entered the G.N.O.M.E. workshop.
Armor cracked.
Shield shattered.
Temper… unstable.

He placed the remains on the table and said only:
“Make it better.”

The shield was damaged.
Broken.
Unacceptable.

We at G.N.O.M.E. knew the truth:
we could make it bigger, faster, BETTER.

So we did.
Immediately.
Without a meeting.

Enhancement procedures included:

• Aggressive iron expansion
• Experimental void integration
• Recalibration after the first recalibration failed
• One gnome saying “this is probably fine”

Results:
AMAZING.

The shield returned significantly stronger,
noticeably heavier,
and now exhibits magical properties beyond belief.
None of these were in the original request.

Side effects may include:

• Unexplained flashes of light
• Increased confidence
• Shield occasionally glaring back
