v1.1.2

πŸ“¦ Fixed β€” "Command not found! season"

  • The download no longer pretends to be a working mod. Previous downloads contained a broken extra manifest.json that made the .zip itself show up in Hytale's mod list if you dropped it straight into the Mods folder β€” it looked installed, but the mod can't run from inside the zip, so every /season command failed with "Command not found! season". The zip's packaging is fixed and now includes a plain INSTALL.txt. Install = copy TurningSeasons-v1.1.2.jar (the .jar, not the .zip) into %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods\. If you were hit by this: delete the TurningSeasons .zip from your Mods folder, put the .jar in, and restart the world.

πŸ”‘ New β€” choose who can change the season

  • Server owners can now decide who controls the seasons. By default, anyone can use /season set, skip, and length (unchanged). Flip one config setting to "permission" and only players you've granted the turningseasons:control permission can change the season β€” everyone can still see it. Grant it to whoever you like through your server's permissions.

πŸ›‘οΈ Hardened

  • Commands can't error out anymore. /season now catches any unexpected hiccup, shows you a clean message, and quietly logs the details for the server owner β€” instead of a red error in chat.
  • Verified on every Hytale version. Checked against the 0.4, 0.5 (release), and 0.6 (pre-release) builds β€” the mod now adapts to whichever version it's running on.

πŸ”Ž Added

  • Startup diagnostics. The mod now logs which Hytale build it's running on, so if anything ever misbehaves it's quick to pin down.

No gameplay changes by default β€” the same four seasons, weather, save persistence, and commands as v1.1.1, open to everyone unless you choose to restrict season control.

Upgrading: drop the new TurningSeasons-v1.1.2.jar into your Mods folder and delete the old one (and any TurningSeasons .zip that ended up in there). Your seasonal progress carries over.
