## v1 — Initial Release
First release of The Blighted Grove — a standalone portal fragment dimension for Hytale.
### Portal & Dimension
- New dimension accessible via a craftable **Portal Key** (1x Iron Bar at an Arcanebench, 45-minute cooldown)
- Fully isolated fragment instance — does not modify the main world
- Void Invasion enabled within the dimension
### Terrain
- **Inverted sinkhole landscape** — terrain dips into craters instead of rising into hills
- **Poison pools** fill the deepest craters, dealing damage on contact
- Layered geology: poisoned dirt surfaces, volcanic rock walls, slate deep layers
- Base height Y=110, sinkholes carve down to Y=80
### Atmosphere & Weather
- **4 weather types** on a 24-hour rotation:
- **Gloom** — muted purple daytime sky with drifting violet particles
- **Night** — deep darkness with green firefly-like particles
- **Miasma** — extreme fog (~320 block visibility)
- **Rain** — dark purple-tinted rainfall
- Sun never reaches full brightness — even midday feels like dusk
- Deep violet water tint throughout the dimension
### Flora
- **8 tree variants** — Poisoned (Stages 1/3/4), Burnt Dead (Stages 1/2), Burnt Roots Spider, Petrified Dead (Stages 1/2)
- **Deep trees** — massive Petrified Dead trees (Stages 3/5) spawn in major sinkholes
- Ground cover of dark mosses, withered bushes, and purple flowers
- Fern clusters (single and double-height) scattered across the landscape
### Structures
- **7 ruined structure types** spawn throughout the dimension:
- Slothian Shrine, Well, Temple, Hunting Lodge, Merchant Stall
- Slothian L-Shaped House
- Slate Ruins
### Creatures
- **10 hostile creatures** on a day/night schedule — no peaceful wildlife
- **Daytime (5:00–19:00)**: Spider, Cave Spider, Void Crawler, Void Larva, Rat
- **Nighttime (19:00–5:00)**: Void Spectre, Void Eye, Void Spawn, Bat, Brown Owl
- Reduced spawn density (0.6) for atmospheric but survivable encounters
### Custom Blocks
- **Blighted Trunk** — dark emerald wood with purple veins; functions as normal wood (fuel, charcoal, crafting)
- **Blighted Leaves** — deep purple leaf blocks with a faint inner glow and wind animation
### Localization
- Full English (en-US) translations for all items, blocks, and portal tips
