Starky's RayGun is here!

Inspired from "Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies",

so if you like that, you will enjoy this mod.

RAYGUN

(CUSTOM MODEL & TEXTURE WITH GLOW)

The RayGun does not loose Signature Energy and Ammo when swapped.
The RayGun has 600 points of max durability (Can be customized).


CUSTOM SPRINTING ANIMATIONS

The RayGun will not shoot without Ammo.


PRIMARY ATTACK - SHOOT

(EDITED PARTICLES + CUSTOM SOUNDS)

"LEFT CLICK"

Shoot as the luckiest player of a CoD Zombies game

with the RayGun!

Deals 45 damage if you hit your target, but if you

aim at the floor (~3m radius from projectile), it will do 45 damage with "falloff"

(depending how close you hit the enemies).

Cost:  1 RayGun Ammo per shot


AIM

(CUSTOM ANIMATIONS & SOUND)

"RIGHT CLICK"


RELOAD

(CUSTOM ANIMATIONS & SOUND)

"ABILITY 3 KEY" ("ctrl" by default)

The player can reload the RayGun at any point,

and will cost as much ammo as it needs.

20 Rounds of RayGun Ammo per Clip


SECONDARY ATTACK - MELEE

"ABILITY 2 KEY" ("E" by default)

Deals 5 damage per enemy.


TEMPORAL PACK-A-PUNCH

(EDITED PARTICLES + CUSTOM TEXTURE & SOUND)

"ABILITY 1 KEY" ("Q" by default)

As you'll miss the Pack-A-Punch Machine...

For now, the player will be able to temporarly

upgrade the RayGun for 20s once it reaches

to 100% Signature Energy capacity.

While upgraded, the player will move a

little faster than normal and the RayGun will deal

extra damage on primary attacks (shoot) for 20s.

After 20s, the Pack A Punch will disappear, giving

the RayGun its normal state.

Primary Attacks now deal 75 damage per enemy.

Aiming the floor damage also increased to 75 with "falloff" (~3m radius).

NOTE:  The Crafting Recipes are likely to change in the future (for balance).


COMMANDS (NEW)

"/rayguncraft"

It will toggle "disable/enable" RayGun's and RayGun's Ammo crafting recipes.
(Both at the same time).
Only OP players can use this command.
If disabled, OP player will still be able to craft these.
It will apply instantly into the world/server, no need to restart.


CONFIG FILES (NEW)

Starky's RayGun mod generates a "RayGun_Starky" folder
in your world/server folder, in which you will find
some generated config files that you can edit to your liking!

EDITABLE CRAFTING RECIPE


You can fully customize to your liking the
RayGun's and RayGun's Ammo crafting recipe
in the "rayguncraft.json" file.
It will update the crafting recipe
automatically once the file has been saved.
No need to restart.
Changes apply to all players in the world/server.

EDITABLE DURABILITY AND MAX AMMO


You can customize to your liking the
RayGun's durability and max ammo
in the "rayguncraft.json" file.
It will update the durability and max ammo
automatically once the file has been saved.
No need to restart.
Changes apply to all RayGuns in the world/server.
It applies instantly to:
RayGuns in online player's inventories,
RayGuns dropped on the floor in loaded chunks, 
RayGuns inside chests/containers in loaded chunks
and of course to all new crafted RayGuns.
Also, it should apply to all RayGuns in offline players
when they comeback online the next time,
and to all RayGuns in not loaded chunks
once these chunks are loaded again.

EDITABLE DAMAGES


You can customize to your liking the RayGun's damages
of each attack
in the "raygundamages.json" file.
It will update all damages
automatically once the file has been saved.
No need to restart.
Changes apply to all RayGuns in the world/server.

EDITABLE PACK-A-PUNCH DURATION


You can customize to your liking the
RayGun's Pack-A-Punch duration in
the "raygundamages.json" file.
It will update all durations
automatically once the file has been saved.
No need to restart.
Changes apply to all RayGuns in the world/server.

We'd like to give balance to our RayGun so can fit in Hytale correctly, so if you think it's way too powerful please let us know! We do not want it to be way too powerful that could ruin the player's Hytale experience.
