Soul Harvest

SoulHarvest is a combat-first RPG progression mod for Hytale with a 126-node Soul Arbor, risk-based soul economy, dynamic death fracture, strain encumbrance, branch-defining commitments, and distance-scaled mobs with procedural perks and titles.

Dodge and movement

  • Soul Dodge beta is now included in 0.5.0-beta.1.
  • Dodge uses directional double-tap movement input and now has proper dash animation and sound support.
  • Dodge is disabled by default in this beta; opt in per character with /soul dodge on.
  • Dodge is still work in progress because it is currently very unreliable due to there not being any solid way to detect keypresses.

Combat, perk runtime, and balance

  • All perks should no longer have the WIP though still not all perks are guaranteed to work or are balanced yet.
  • More live perk behavior is now active across Reflex, Might, Vigor, and Presence.
  • Added or expanded support for perks like Leech Aura, Intimidate, Tremor, Earthshaker, Blood Price, and Monarch summon-focused gameplay.
  • Gravitas and several combat-related perk behaviors were retuned for this beta.

Stability and usability

  • Improved reliability for /soul commands such as /soul check, /soul arbor, /soul hud, /soul bowfocus, because it died again.
  • Soul Arbor, HUD, Forge, and related combat support systems received cleanup and stability updates for this release.
