Description
LootRoll DE / EN

A WoW-style Need / Greed / Pass loot system for Hytale.
LootRoll adds automatic group loot rolls for valuable items and integrates with PartyPro. 5 [seconds] after the game no longer registers any combat, the loot system starts.
Features
- Need / Greed / Pass system
- Designed for group dungeon loot
- Rare+ loot can automatically trigger a roll
- Need has priority over Greed
- Random roll from 1–100
- Highest roll wins
- Ties are rerolled automatically
- Players who do not choose an option automatically pass
- Multiple loot drops are handled in a queue
- Loot is protected while the roll is active
- Winner automatically receives the item
- Safe fallback if item delivery fails
- Item is not deleted unless delivery succeeds
Post-Combat Loot Rolls
Loot windows do not appear immediately during combat.
After combat ends:
- The loot is detected and protected
- The system waits about 5 seconds
- Combat status is checked
- The Need / Greed / Pass window opens
- Players have time to make their choice
- The winner automatically receives the item
This prevents loot windows from interrupting boss fights or blocking player controls during combat.
Loot Filtering
The system is intended for valuable equipment and rare drops.
By default, common utility loot is excluded, such as:
- Dungeon keys
- Treasure bags
- Coins / currency
- Basic materials
- Resources
- Food
- Potions
- Other normal utility items
The main focus is on:
- Weapons
- Armor
- Accessories
- Rare equipment
- Epic equipment
- Legendary equipment
- Mystic / Mythic equipment
PartyPro Integration
TaleWorld LootRoll integrates directly with PartyPro.
Only eligible party members participate in a loot roll.
The LootRoll bridge is built directly into this mod, so you do not need a modified PartyPro version.
Required
- PartyPro
Recommended version:
PartyPro 1.0.35
Personal LootRoll Setting
LootRoll is enabled by default for every player.
Players can enable or disable participation themselves.
Commands: ON/OFF
/lootroll
Aliases:
/lr
/lootrolltoggle
If LootRoll is disabled for a player, that player will automatically be skipped during group loot rolls.
The other party members can continue rolling normally.
Player settings are saved permanently.
Roll Priority
The default priority is:
Need > Greed > Pass
Example:
- Player A: Need 42
- Player B: Greed 98
- Player C: Need 76
Player C wins because Need always has priority over Greed.
Item Delivery Safety
The winner only loses the world-drop after the item was successfully added to the inventory.
If delivery fails:
- the mod retries automatically
- the item is not deleted
- the item can be unlocked again as a fallback
This prevents valuable loot from disappearing because of inventory or server issues.
