What's new
New event: the Treasure Goblin
- A goblin thief, now and then, by day or night: a goblin bandit in a red bandana, hauling a sack of treasure bigger than he is, turns up near you. Catch him before he gets away through his gold portal!
- He runs: he sprints off the moment he sees you or you hit him, darts away after each blow, zig-zags when you're on his heels, drops down ledges and never runs into a dead end. You have to be a good chaser to bring him down.
- Loot for your level: each time you wound him his sack spills, and when he falls it bursts: bars and gems for your gear's tier, food and potions, and about a third of the time a weapon or armor piece (now and then one rarity better), from Hytale and your other mods. Sometimes a rare trophy: his Stolen Sack, to place in your home.
- He meets you at your level: the better your gear, the tougher and richer he is; he's tougher with more players.
- A real chase: his own sneaky heist tune while you chase him, cackles, taunts when you hit him, a mocking laugh when he gets away from you, a glowing trail of gold dust to follow, and a panel showing how long you have.
- Your choice: Off, Rare, Normal or Often in the menu, like every event.
Music
- Event music lowers monster and weapon sounds while it plays, as the Blood Moon's always has: the Crimson Herald's song now too, and a little louder.
- The Crimson Herald's song no longer restarts when you pause or switch to creative mid-fight.
Fixes
- An event an admin starts that can't begin (no room nearby) no longer starts by itself hours later; you are told it couldn't start.
