What's new

1.2.0 (2026-10-29)

A real menu: /lwe settings or /lwe menu

  • Your record in this world: world events joined, your best stage, bosses and monsters slain, and what happened lately.
  • Your collection: every weapon, accessory, rune and trophy the world events give, by tab. What you haven't found stays hidden, with a hint of where it comes from.
  • Every world event has its page: its picture and what it is, how often it comes (Off, Rare, Normal, Often), its summon item, no sleeping while it runs, its own options (the Blood Moon's include the chests' points), your record and what it brings. Events still being finished show what they will be, marked Soon.
  • Nights: Easy, Normal, Hard or Nightmare in one click, the night monsters slider, and how much happens in the world. Presets no longer change the chests' points (they are set on the Blood Moon's page).
  • Changes are saved at once; Reset this page puts a page back. Everyone can open the menu; only server operators can change settings. /lwe settings opens the menu on its settings.
  • A look of its own: the next world event in big letters with its picture, switches you flip, each event's colour, and a dark window.

Coming soon

  • The menu lists the Treasure Goblin as coming soon: not in the game yet.

Events pace themselves

  • A new setting, How much happens in the world (Calm, Normal or Lively), sets how often events come; every event shares it. Blood Moons never come two nights in a row, and on Normal the world is rarely quiet for more than 3 days.
  • Turning an event off gives its turn to the others.
  • Each event's How often (Rare, Normal, Often) moves it from the world's level: Rare brings it less often, Often more often, on every level, and the other events are not changed. A quiet world waits twice as long before it calls in a Rare event. A Blood Moon never comes two nights in a row.
  • The forecast no longer says a Blood Moon comes "next night" while another event is running: it says it waits for that event to end.
  • The Blood Moon chance slider is gone (the Blood Moon's Rare / Normal / Often setting replaces it); worlds on Hard or Nightmare keep frequent Blood Moons as Often. A new world's first 2 days and nights are calm for every event.

Settings

  • No sleeping during a Blood Moon is now a switch of the Blood Moon's own, next to its other event settings (on, as before; a world that allowed sleeping keeps it). The Night difficulty presets no longer change it.

Blood Moon

  • Its stages need fewer points (Normal: 21, 67, 125, 204, and 300 for the last), so a strong night reaches the last stage well before dawn. Worlds on Easy, Normal or Hard get the new targets; targets you set yourself stay.

Drill Defense (still being finished: it doesn't come by itself yet; server owners can try it with /lwe event start drill_defense)

  • The goblin tinkerer talks. Say yes to start the fight, or no and he grumbles until you change your mind. With friends, the first yes counts.
  • The drill is heard: it hums while it waits, grinds while it drills, rattles when badly hurt and clanks when bitten; open tunnel holes rumble.
  • Its health bar no longer creeps up and snaps back between hits.
  • Arrows over the barrels and the open holes; open holes glow faintly at night.
  • Its own map and compass marker: a drill breaking through the ground.
  • After the last wave: "Hold On" with a countdown and the holes left to seal, while open holes keep sending Scaraks; the end tells how many holes you sealed.
  • Scaraks that get stuck find their way again, or burrow and come up at a hole.
  • The beam lands further out (60-110 blocks) on open, flat ground with room for the fight.
  • Five tunnel holes (one more per extra player, up to eight), a spare barrel, busier waves, a bigger drill and holes.
