Kukei's Plushiemancy

Bring your fluffy friends to life with this marvelously magical mod!

Have you ever wished your plush friends could help around the house, manage resources, and join you on adventures? Well, thanks to the magic of Plushiemancy, now you can! Craft yourself a sewing table, plonk it down, and get to work crafting the perfect fluffy friend to act as your companion in the wonderful world of Orbis!

IMPORTANT:

Separate Assets and Base modules have been unified into one for ease of installation. Disable and uninstall Kukei's Plushiemancy - Base and Kukei's Plushiemancy - Assets and install and enable Kukei's Plushiemancy and your plushies should remain unchanged. If you've never installed this mod before, disregard this message and simply place Kukei's Plushiemancy in your mods directory.

This mod is WIP and very early in development. Currently there is one plushie and two tasks they can perform; mining and farming. More plushies and more adventures are planned, but this is everything I could put together before the Hytale New Worlds modding contest.

The farmer will automagically gather fully grown eternal crops within a radius around themself and deposit them into a chest placed within 5 blocks of their home position. They will also automagically gather fully grown regular crops within a radius around themself using seeds they pull from a special Plushie Chest placed within 5 blocks of their home position. They will avoid crops they cannot harvest, either because they are unreachable or because they lack seeds to replace them with. They carry up to 10 seeds of each type at a time, and will deposit their inventory periodically, if it is full, or if there are no crops left.

The miner (WIP) will mine ores in a radius around themself without breaking them and place the spoils in a chest within 5 blocks of their home position. Give them a pickaxe by placing a Plushie Chest within 5 blocks of their home position and putting one in it. They will upgrade their pickaxe if you provide a better one than they currently have, however currently the pickaxe they have does not change what ores they can mine.

In addition to the plushies are some special new items:

Sewing Bench: A magical sewing machine used to assemble plushies, hearts, and plushie-related items

Plushie Staff: This is used to manage your fluffy friends. Left-click a plushie with the staff to pick it up. Left-click again to place the plushie somewhere. They set their home position based on where they are placed. Right-click a plushie to turn them back into an item. They will drop the contents of their inventory in either case. Picking up a plushie and putting it down resets its state if it gets stuck.

Plushie Chest: This special chest is the only chest plushies will take items from. Place one within 5 blocks of a plushie's home position to allow it to make use of it.

Plushie Hearts: These are the magical core of your fluffy friends, and are what grants them life and sentience. The heart you imbue the plushie with determines what it will do. Four hearts are present, though only the Caring and Industrious hearts work at the moment.
