Current Features:

A craftable Japanese Writing Table from the Workbench.
150 hand drawn Hiragana, Katakana characters and 250+ hand drawn JLPT N5 and N4 Kanji.
No generative AI used for any art or design, everything is hand made by me.
Subtle shading to show the correct stroke direction on characters
A phonetic search feature in the crafting bench that works for most Kana. Type '_Ka' for Ka. Search for english meanings to find relevant Kanji
A dedicated creative mode menu section
Characters are placeable like paintings with transparent backgrounds and attach to most block sides making them great for Japanese city build projects.
LLM AI was used for what it's actually good at - text formatting and character descriptions.

If you make any cool Japanese style builds using this for the lettering I would love to see them!

Installation and Guide.

Place the .zip in your UserData/Mods/ folder and (Todd voice) it just works!

In exploration mode you should see the Japanese Writing Table as a craftable option from within the Workbench crafting stations menu, you'll need some bamboo wood from the Zone 4 Dino Jungle to craft the bench.

In creative mode the mod has a dedicated menu.
