1.3.0 — Group calls, and rooms anyone can walk into
Groups could be written to. Now they can be called.
Two ways to call, on one screen
Open a group's chat and press the call button in its header. That screen does both things, and they combine:

Whether a call is open is decided by whoever starts it, call by call — it is not a property of the group. A private group can host an open call; a public one can hold a closed call. And joining an open call does not put you in the group: you come to talk, and nothing is left behind when you leave.
Next to each member you are told why you will not reach them (offline, busy, do not disturb, blocked) before you tick them, so a call never quietly goes out with half the people you picked.
Where you find them
- Groups → Calls — every open call on the server, busiest first.
- Groups → Mine — a group of yours with a call running is tagged in a call and gets a green Join button next to its menu.
Fixed
- Anyone invited into a call already in progress rang forever. The ring timeout was measured on the call as a whole and stopped being checked the moment somebody was inside, so an invitee who never picked up was stuck on the incoming-call screen until they hung up themselves. The countdown is now per person.
Details
- A call holds 12 people. Not an arbitrary cap: voice is relayed one-to-everyone, so the work grows with the square of the people talking.
- Blocks are checked against everyone already inside, not just the host.
- An open call can never be anonymous — one step inside and the list gives it away.
- Recent calls now show the group's name instead of a bare "Group".
On the basic phone
The keypad phone takes and joins calls but does not start them: picking people off a list does not fit four rows of LCD. New Calls entry in its menu and an LL button per row. The wall-mounted landline stays out of it.
Compatibility
- Up to date with server 0.6.6 (the previous release was declared for 0.5.x).
- Nothing to migrate: number, contacts, conversations, groups and recent calls are kept as they are. Updating is dropping in the new .jar.
