GlymeraGlass-5.0.0.jar
What's new
GlymeraGlass — Changelog
v5.0.0 — 2026-08-30
Fixed
- Fluids no longer enter glass — from any side. The engine's fluid simulation treats only cube-drawn blocks as solid, so a stream or source above our see-through glass filled it. GlymeraGlass now installs a glass-aware copy of the native fluid ticker: glass is solid for the simulation, and any fluid that still ends up inside a glass cell is removed on its next tick. Fluids stay visible through glass; nothing else changes.
- Bucket fix works alongside GlymeraPlotWorld again. Both plugins replace the same bucket interaction and only the last one survived. GlymeraGlass now loads after PlotWorld and hands over to it after the glass shift — plot protection and the "fluid lands in front of the glass" behaviour both work, in either load order.
Changed
- Recipes reworked so every glass is craftable in Adventure mode. Glass: 1x Stone (any variant) + 1x Smooth coloured Clay → 4, Furniture Bench / Village Walls. Glowing glass: 4x Glass + 2x matching Crystal (White: 1) → 4, Furniture Bench / Lighting — replaces the raw-clay and Boom-Powder/Arcane-Bench recipes.
v4.0.0 — 2026-08-19
Fixed
- Buckets no longer pour into the glass. Emptying a water or lava bucket against a glass block used to put the fluid inside the glass cell itself. The fluid now lands in front of the clicked face, exactly like against any solid block. Works for all buckets, including modded ones that use the standard fluid-placing mechanic.
- Placing glass into a fluid now displaces it. A glass block set into a standing water or lava source removes the fluid from its cell instead of sharing it — build aquarium walls from the inside without trapping water in the pane.
Known quirks (engine limitations of the see-through render path)
- Glass placed underneath flowing fluid (for example under a source block while building underwater, or into a running lava stream) fills up again from above. Sideways, glass is always tight — walls and windows hold back any fluid.
- A fluid source placed on top of a glass block sits there as a still cube and does not spread; fluid arriving next to a glass tower spreads less than beside regular blocks.
v3.0.0 — 2026-07-23
Fixed
- Fluids are now visible through glass. Flowing or standing water and lava behind a glass block used to disappear when looked at through the pane (an engine quirk: fluid faces next to full-cube blocks are never drawn, regardless of transparency settings). All 16 glass blocks were rebuilt on the model render path — same look, same recipes, same block IDs, but the glass now composes correctly with fluids. Perfect for lava shafts, aquariums and ore generators.
- Light now passes through glass; rooms behind a glass wall are no longer dark, and the glowing variants shine at their full strength.
Notes
- Purely client-side rendering change — no new server cost, no config changes, existing builds keep working. Already placed glass shows the new rendering after the area reloads (rejoin or walk away and back).
v2.0.0
- Version housekeeping release — same content as v1.0.0 under a new version number.
v1.0.0
First release: 8 colored glass blocks plus 8 glowing variants (colored light, radius 10), craftable at the Furniture Bench and Arcane Bench.
