🔥 NEW: The Seven Trumpets Raid Event

THIS IS FOR SSS PARTNERS ONLY. As it completely brings new fun content as a server-wide event.

The first official server-wide raid event has arrived.

The Seven Trumpets is a 7-wave shared-world raid designed for large groups and public participation.

Players can now join a single active raid world together using:

/lvl raid join

Raid Features

  • Shared persistent raid world

  • Manual or automatic raid scheduling

  • New /lvl raid command suite

  • Raid countdown + horn audio system

  • Wave progression + admin controls

  • Session-based raid worlds

  • No gear loss on death

  • Designed for low-level participation

  • Level-difference scaling disabled inside the raid

⚔️ MASSIVE Mob Defense Rework

The old flat % damage reduction system has been fully replaced with a new LoL-style hyperbolic defense formula.

New Defense Formula

effDef  = mobDef × (1 − piercePct) − pierceFlat

effDef ≥ 0:
dmgMult = K / (K + effDef)

effDef < 0:
dmgMult = 2 − K / (K − effDef)

New Features

  • Hyperbolic defense scaling

  • Damage amplification when shredding below 0 defense

  • Mob-level-scaled K values

  • Multiplicative % penetration stacking

  • Flat penetration support

  • Configurable defense scaling per world

This creates far smoother scaling across early-game, endgame, raids, and boss encounters.


🗡 NEW Combat Attributes

Added two entirely new skill attribute channels:

  • PIERCE_PCT

  • PIERCE_FLAT

  • Multiplicative % penetration stacking

  • Additive flat penetration

  • Shred-focused build support

  • New augment compatibility

  • Future race/class integrations

Mobs cannot penetrate player defenses back.


💀 Mob Crit System Removed

Mob RNG burst damage has been removed entirely.

The following offensive mob systems were retired:

  • PRECISION

  • FEROCITY

Result

  • More predictable combat

  • Less random one-shots

  • Smoother raid balancing

  • Better survivability for low-level players

Mob strength + sorcery were also unified into a single:

Mob_Power_Percent

scaling curve.


📉 CRITICAL Exploit Fix — DamageCapScaler

Fixed the BETA-3 issue where low-level players could abuse true-damage scaling to delete raid bosses.

New System

DamageCapScaler

Monster damage caps now:

  • Scale with player level

  • Start lower at early progression

  • Ramp toward endgame values

  • Prevent level-1 boss cheesing

Affected Mechanics

  • TrueBolts

  • TrueEdge

  • Burn

  • Drain

  • Wither


🎯 NEW: True Bolts Rework

TrueBolts %-max-HP damage now scales with distance.

Behavior

  • Melee range → minimum damage

  • Long range → full damage

  • Rewards ranged positioning

  • Prevents point-blank boss melting


🌀 NEW Mob Variance System

The old mob commons/stat-roll system has been removed.

Replaced with:

Scaling.Variance

  • Lower performance overhead

  • More consistent balancing

Default variance:

  • ±25% health

🌊 Wave Engine Rewrite

The wave system now uses a new SpawnPattern framework.

This rewrite also powers:

Added new endgame dungeon portal types:

The raid was heavily rebalanced after BETA-3 feedback.

  • Boss HP massively reduced

  • Defense DR reduced:

    • 0.85 → 0.40

  • Party HP scaling reduced:

    • +60% → +25% per player

  • Better low-level accessibility
