Improved UI issues that cause players to get their inputs locked (Hytale limitation)
Corrected player level cap at prestige 0 (now back at max level of 100 at prestige 0)
Absolute player level cap is now set at level 250
Why Cap Player Levels?
Capping player levels helps maintain long-term balance, progression pacing, and fairness across all stages of the game.
- Prevents Prestige Stagnation
Without a level cap, high-prestige players can get stuck grinding within the same prestige tier for extended periods, slowing down meaningful progression. - Controls Skill Point Inflation
Unlimited leveling leads to excessive skill point accumulation, making builds harder to balance and reducing meaningful player choice at higher prestiges. - Keeps Progression Competitive for New Players
A level cap ensures newer players have a realistic path to catching up, rather than falling permanently behind long-time veterans. - Encourages Dynamic Power Scaling
Because prestiging resets level, power becomes more fluid:- A lower-prestige player at a higher level can compete with a higher-prestige player at a lower level
- Example: A Prestige 20 (Level 50) can be comparable to a Prestige 10 (Level 60)
- However, long-term investment still matters (e.g., Prestige 20 Level 100 remains stronger than Prestige 0 Level 100)
- Improves Event Fairness
Server-wide events stay competitive because top players naturally rotate as others prestige and temporarily drop in level. This creates real opportunities for newer or mid-tier players to win.
