Immersive Infection-Style Gameplay that Expands on "Corrupted" aspect of blocks and mobs already in the game. Inspired by the "Taint" from Thaumcraft and Harbinger's Fungal Spores

Additions:

  • Added New /corruption commands:
    • /corruption start
      • Makes the area around you turn into corruption and starts the corruption spread from all seed
    • /corruption stop
      • Stops all corruption spread
    • /corruption clear
      • Clears the corruption (turning it into regular hive blocks)
    • /corruption seed
      • Places a single corruption block at your feet
    • /corruption speed [1-10]
      • Modifies the speed of which corruption spread
  • Void Creatures now heal for 15/s on Corrupted Land

Changes:

  • Crystals should purify better and crystal purification range increases with larger crystals, however, all crystal purify at the same rate.  Bigger is more sparse like a shotgun while small crystals are precise as their range is smaller.  Crystal blocks are Uncorruptable (shards are still corruptable tho.  Place your shard on a crytal block for synergy)
    • Small crystals are 5x5x5 Range with 40% coverage
    • Medium crystals are 11x11x11 range with 3.5% coverage
    • Large Crystals are 20x20x20 range with 0.5% coverage
    • Crystal Blocks Do Not Purify, but they can't be corrupted, and they double the rate of purification of crystals attached
  • Corruption now doesn't spread too deep into the ground, mainly focusing on the first 3-5 levels of depth.  Should help prevent rooted
  • Crystals next to eachother should work together an be more effective in purifying

Other Notes:

  • The initial corruption seed still spawns at spawn for players just wanting to install and forget and play.
