Never run out of inventory space while exploring! Backporter introduces a loyal, friendly Klops companion carrying a large travel backpack. He stays faithfully by your side across land and water, keeping 27 extra item slots always within arm's reach.

Backporter is currently in active development for Hytale Early Access. While the core companion mechanics are fully functional, navigation and features will continue to receive enhancements.

What it does
- Mobile 27-Slot Storage: Walk up to your Backporter and press [F] to open his travel backpack anytime, anywhere.
- Early Game Summoning Whistle: Craft the Backporter Whistle right away using basic early-game materials (2 Sticks and 1 Plant Fibre).
- Instant Pocket Recall: Right-click the whistle to summon your companion or safely dismiss him back into your pocket.
- Intelligent Follower: Klops walks, jumps, and swims alongside you dynamically using native engine pathfinding.
- Session Persistence & Anti-Duplication: Automatically cleans up and reconnects to your companion across server restarts or world reloads. Exactly 1 companion active per player.

How it works
1. Craft the Whistle: Gather 2x Sticks (Ingredient_Stick) and 1x Plant Fibre (Ingredient_Fibre) and craft the Backporter Whistle at your Workbench or in Fieldcraft.
2. Summon: Hold the whistle and Right-Click. Your loyal Klops will appear right in front of you.
3. Access Backpack: Walk up to your Klops companion and press [F] to interact. The 27-slot backpack GUI opens instantly.
4. Dismiss: When you want to travel light or keep your companion safe, hold the whistle and Right-Click again to recall him.
5. In-Game Commands (Alternative):
   - /backporter : Toggle summon / recall
   - /backporter whistle : Give yourself 1x Backporter Whistle
   - /backporter bag : Open the 27-slot backpack directly
   - /backporter clean : Purge any duplicate or orphaned Klops in the area

Requirements
- Game: Hytale Early Access
- Type: Server-side mod with embedded custom asset pack. Fully compatible with singleplayer and multiplayer servers.

Installation
1. Download Backporter-1.0.0.jar.
2. Place the .jar file into your Hytale Mods folder:
   %appdata%\Hytale Games\UserData\Mods
3. Launch your game or server and enjoy your new adventure companion!

Configuration
No configuration needed. Ready to play right out of the box.

Troubleshooting
- If your companion gets stuck behind deep obstacles, simply Right-Click your Whistle twice to recall and re-summon him next to you.
- If multiple Klops appear after updating from an earlier session, type /backporter clean to clear duplicates.
