AscendDungeons — Dungeon System for Hytale

Turn your server into a full dungeon experience.

AscendDungeons adds party-based dungeon gameplay with UI menus, instanced worlds, and progression-ready systems.


⚠️ Beta Status

AscendDungeons is currently in beta.

While the core systems are stable, some features and dungeon areas may not be fully polished yet.

The mod will continue to evolve based on player feedback, balance testing, and real gameplay usage.


Important Notice

To keep the mod lightweight and reduce file size, some dungeon areas are optimized and may not have full structural coverage outside of intended paths.

⚠️ Players are strongly advised:

  • Do NOT mine above or below themselves inside dungeons
  • Stick to intended paths and directions

Breaking outside the designed areas may result in:

  • falling through the map
  • visual glitches

This optimization keeps the mod size reasonable (~23 MB) while still delivering full dungeon gameplay.


What you get

  • Party system — create parties, invite players, and run dungeons together (up to 5 players)
  • Dungeon Hub — a central hub where players prepare before entering dungeons
  • Instanced dungeons — every group gets their own dungeon instance
  • Ready system — no trolling, everyone must be ready before entering
  • Dungeon browser UI — clean menus to browse and select dungeons
  • Party HUD — always see your party status in real time
  • Localization — supports multiple languages out of the box
  • Return system — players are safely returned after leaving a dungeon

Available Dungeons

The mod currently includes 5 dungeons, designed around progression and equipment scaling:

  • Sunken Dunes (Tier 1)
  • The Labyrinth (Tier 2)
  • The Sewers (Tier 3)
  • Goblins Lair (Tier 4)
  • Forgotten Tomb (Tier 5)

Each dungeon is balanced around different gear levels (weapons / armor) and intended player progression.

Commands

Main Command

  • /dungeons — open the main menu

Dungeon Commands

  • /dungeon browse — open dungeon browser
  • /dungeon leave — return to your saved position (exit dungeon hub)

Party Commands

  • /dungeon party — open party menu
  • /dungeon party invite <player> — invite a player to your party
  • /dungeon party leave — leave your current party

Short Commands

  • /dg — open main menu
  • /dg browse — open dungeon browser
  • /dg party — open party menu
