Alternative Leather lets you craft hide tiers (Light/Medium/Hard) and Sturdy Chitin using plants and mushrooms, so you can progress without killing or farming animals.

All recipes are designed to fit into normal progression (gather → craft → tan like usual)
Notes
This is the first public release, so balance may shift a bit based on feedback.
If another mod edits the same hide/chitin recipes, load order will decide which set you see.
