<p align="center"> A competitive SkyWars-style minigame for Hytale, featuring Solo and Teams arenas with spawn cages, chest loot, selectable kits, spectator mode, parties, cosmetics, and a fully custom UI. </p>
Gameplay
- Solo (FFA) and co-op Teams arenas, with configurable team size
- Isolated, disposable match worlds cloned from arena templates, so many games run at once
- Spawn cages hold players during the countdown, then shatter open on start
- Configurable countdown, match duration, end-celebration, and min players
- Win / draw / time-up resolution, with a victory podium and firework show
Arenas and setup
- In-game setup wizard:
/aerowars setup start <arena> <template> - Mark spawns with the setup wand or
/aerowars setup set; place NORMAL and MIDDLE chests - Co-op arenas via
/aerowars setup mode coop <size> - Re-edit any arena with
/aerowars setup edit; recover the wand with/aerowars wand - Clearing an arena's chests sends it to draft (hidden from matchmaking) until chests are added
- Arenas in use by a live match cannot be edited or deleted
- Create void template worlds to build maps in with
/aerowars world create <name>
Loot and events
- Weighted chest loot with island (normal) and middle tiers, editable in the admin panel
- Unified, schedulable in-match events (chest refill and gradual loot upgrade)
- Randomize mode fires events at random moments, in random order, spread across the match
Kits
- Selectable kits with an in-game picker showing real item icons
- Visual kit builder in the admin panel: click inventory items (all sections) to copy them into a kit
- Free, permission-locked, and purchasable kits
Spectator mode
- Dead players become spectators: flight, invulnerable, and invisible to living players
- Hotbar tools: a tracker to teleport to living players, and a bed to return to the lobby
- Full inventory save and restore on match entry and exit
Parties and matchmaking
- Party system with invite / accept / kick / promote / disband and a management menu
- Solo and Teams matchmaking queues
- Keep-together option (never split the party) or auto-split, with clear feedback when no arena fits
Cosmetics
- Cage themes (including a random Rainbow cage), kill effects, victory shows, and movement trails
- Free, permission-locked, and purchasable, browsable in the cosmetics shop
Stats, economy, and integrations
- Stats and leaderboards (kills / wins), with optional SQL persistence (SQLite / MySQL / MariaDB / Postgres)
- Optional economy rewards on kill and win (resolves a provider reflectively; no hard dependency)
- PlaceholderAPI expansion (
aerowars) exposing arena, queue, party, player, and leaderboard placeholders - TaleGuard protection hook for the interaction rules the ECS events cannot cover (soft dependency)
Interface and admin
- Custom scoreboard and event HUD, on-screen titles, and a chat prefix you fully control
- Full admin panel: arenas, loot tables, live matches, kits, and settings toggles
- Update checker (terminal, admin chat on join, and the admin panel)
