Casual Fishing Lures

All lures return after a line break. AI no longer triggers warnings for low line durability. Time of day and weather penalties removed from all lures.

Update 03/24/205 Added two new optional versions of the mod:

• Version that removes Fishing BGM while fishing (Requested due to compatibility with existing mods that target the same file)
• A version that adds back the disabled Fishing Fanfare that was removed (available in the Audio Fix mod, but included here for compatibility as well, as it's once again the same file. 

Fishing in Final Fantasy XV is a detailed and immersive system, where factors like lure type, speed, depth, and countless other variables work together to determine your chances of catching a fish. I love the system, and I wouldn't want to change it, as it is designed beautifully.

That said, there are times when I prefer a more relaxed approach. Wanting to avoid losing lures that are harder or annoying to replace, I often found myself using lures that always return purely for convenience.

This mod doesn’t alter which lures are effective for specific fish but adjusts how accurate the lure tooltips feel. Normally, the game applies hidden penalties based on the time of day or weather, making some lures ineffective even for the fish they’re supposed to work on. By removing these penalties, the tooltips align better with how lures actually perform.

Additionally, all lures are returned to your inventory if your line snaps, so you won’t lose them. And with the party reminders to change a low-durability fishing line disabled, you can enjoy fishing without interruptions, even if your line is almost worn out.
