What's new

v1.3

  • Loot quality offers all ten qualities of the game (General to Gold) with the game's own names and colors.
  • "Object ID" is now called "ID" everywhere; its tooltip names the game setting that shows IDs in tooltips.
  • Time zones: public events are shown in your own local time everywhere (the game server runs on German time), and group calls give the start as "in 25 min" or "in 1:30 h", which is right for every reader. Public event names now come from the game in your client's language.
  • Difficulty: "Awakened / Awakened +" is now one choice (Awakened in red, Awakened + in purple) with the instance scaling slider: "None" is Awakened, levels 1-7 are Awakened +. Saved settings, templates, events, and Quick Raid groups are converted once with this update.
  • Starting a recruitment applies your saved loot method, loot quality, difficulty, and scaling completely, one after another with a short pause and only where the group differs (from Awakened + to a lower difficulty the scaling is set to "None" first, as the game requires); Let's Party says in chat what it changes. A changed loot quality is announced in the group chat like in the game's menu. With "Free for all" the loot quality is greyed out, because the game offers none.
  • Let's Party no longer changes an existing group on its own. After the first player joins a group started alone, after becoming the leader, and before replacing a listing Let's Party did not create, a window compares instance, difficulty, scaling, loot quality, and loot method (Setting | Current | New, differences highlighted) and asks first. Fixed: a loot method chosen by hand right after the first join was switched back.
  • Private: while you lead a group, difficulty, scaling, loot quality, and loot method stay in sync between the game and the Private tab, whether the recruitment runs or not: a change in the game appears in Let's Party, a change in Let's Party (also choosing another instance or template) is set in the group. Main and awakened instances keep their fixed difficulty; changing it in the game is set back with a note to create an own template (the scaling of awakened instances stays free). In an own template the synchronized values are kept only after "Save current settings"; leaving the template for a predefined instance or "No instance" takes the current settings along. Changing difficulty or loot no longer re-posts the group listing; only instance, display name, max. members, or auto-accept do.
  • Becoming the leader during an assistant recruitment always asks now, also without an instance or when the group already has a listing, and also asks for the maximum members (never smaller than the current group). Private recruitments no longer skip the settings by mistake.
  • Fixed: after becoming the leader of a group whose listing someone else had created, Let's Party could take over that listing and send a group call for the next event on its own. Only recruitments started by Let's Party continue now; replacing a foreign listing asks first.
  • Start buttons read "Start group recruitment (Leader)" or "(Assistant)". As a normal member without assist they are greyed out, and the tooltip explains why.
  • Private: "No instance" heads every category of the instance selection, including "Own templates", and is the default for new installations (a party of 6). Without an instance the group is recruited through chat only; tooltips explain the effects, also for own templates and own public events.
  • Max. members can be chosen freely (6, 12 or 36) on the Private tab, in own templates, and in own public events, also with an instance. An instance or template sets its usual size; a larger value shows a note in chat and as a popup.
  • The lead time of events is now off by default; this update switches it off once for existing settings. Starting too early with an enabled lead time tells you in chat and in a popup when the group can be created and where to change the lead time.
  • New chat command /lp report prints the clock and language values of your client to help with time-zone and language problems.
