Nomadic Ark

Permanence is too easy. Prepare to face the ark in a new way. You can no longer have a permanent base. You must carry with you what you need to survive. Anything left behind will be destroyed!

Tune the challenge level to suit your tastes

You can choose whether structures will be damaged (by how much), or picked up, or demolished, or destroyed. What level of difficulty are you interested in?

INI Setting Explanations

AwarenessRadius 300 units is 1 foundation. So the default is 10 foundations.

StructurePenalty can be set to the following

  • Damage - Any structures out of range will be damaged at a rate of DamagePerSecond per second
  • Pickup - Any structures out of range will be picked up.
  • Demolish - Any structures out of range will be demolished and you will be weighed down with the resources from their demolishing. This is both a blessing, and a curse.
  • Destroy - Any structures out of range will be destroyed. You get nothing.

DamagePerSecond How much damage per second out of range structures should take. A thatch foundation has 2400 health, so a value of 8.0 means a thatch foundation can be left for 4 minutes and 59 seconds before being destroyed

IgnorePlatformSaddleStructures Whether or not to ignore structures attached to platform saddles
