  • (DISCLAIMER FOR USERS WHO DON'T ENJOY ANY SORT OF FLASHING LIGHT) Notho has a visual electric charge particle effect that could considered be too bright for some users. So if that fits your description it is recommended you play this mod with Bloom OFF in settings.

  • What is a Nothosaurus? It is a semi-aquatic creature with similarities to modern monitor lizards. It is much larger than its modern counterparts, and also comes with many unique abilities.

  • Notho Pearl Finder NOT Compatible with some stack mods.

  • What can it do? This creature has various different attacks that all revolve around electricity and shocking. The creature is also incredibly good at collecting and finding silica pearls, making it a useful end game farming creature to have.

  • How can i configure Nothosaurus to my liking for balance? Well this mod comes with it's very own admin remote which can only be crafted and accessed through Creative Mode. You can use this admin remote to spawn in Nothosaurus as well as spawn in it's saddle and configure certain settings to either increase or decrease it's overall strength / gathering rate to your liking.

  • What is it's gameplay / purpose? It is meant to be a mid to endgame fast & agile tame. The Nothosaurus will actively generate electricity charge through attacking other creatures and or being attacked by creatures that also have electricity. There are three main special attacks that can be used when at a fully charged electricity bar and depletes it completely, along with an energy consumption mode that instead trades a small amount of charge and adds it to your normal attacks to increase damage and to electrocute / stun enemies. Nothosaurus not only has some cool attacks and charge mechanics, but some very useful underwater mobility tactics as well. It has the capability to do side and front barrel rolls to both evade and attack enemies and completely overwhelm them with it's speed and agility, you can even breach the surface of the water and jump out! On top of that, Nothosaurus can also track, locate, and harvest Silica Pearls, making it the far more superior silica pearl farmer.

  • And yes, you can change the color of the electricity / electric attacks via color region 1

  • What are the Nothosaurus abilities you may ask? Well they are as followed:

  • Standard Bite

  • TailWhip (both in and out of water)

  • Front lunge (Land) & Forward barrel roll (Swimming)

  • Side barrel rolls (swimming only)

  • Stance change

  • Locate Silica Pearl Finder

  • Roar

  • Activate Special Charged Ability

  • How do I tame one? Nothosaurus is a passive tame, and is tamed by placing and powering regular generators, and allowing it to absorb the electricity from them. You will need a good amount of spare generators on standby since Nothosaurus will completely destroy the generator it absorbs the energy from when it is done with it. With higher levels, more generators are needed in order to provide your Nothosaurus with enough energy to tame it.

  • Where can I find them? Nothosaurus can be found on any of the beaches of the Island and the Center, along with any other map with a beach region. Do note they are neutral, so punching one is not wise.
