Please be patient with the modders and updating as we all work to get things working for the UE 5.5 migration/update.
Current version: 0.95
JVH Garden Decor is a unique collection of assets related to extra landscaping and garden decoration.
More to come but to start the mod has:
Hedges
Rosebushes
Climbing Roses
Miscellaneous flowers
Miscellaneous plants
Potted Plants
Standalone planters for use with plants in Garden Decor and Landscaping
Stone pathway (Hides clutter/grass on place, follows terrain)
Long Wood pathway
Short Wood pathway
Cherry Blossom and Wisteria trees
Small simple decorative garden bridge props
Fountain props
Functional Landscape lights
All are height adjustable on placement, and many have additional features in the Radial menu like choosing colors and setting textures. We're trying to keep the quality high to match the ASA fidelity if we're able. All that's left to really add at this point is some furniture, another dozen flowering bushes, and maybe some pools with reactive water. Once we've added all the items planned, we'll be trying to reduce some of the mesh and texture sizes to get the full mod size optimized a bit more.
Latest updates:
(0.95)
-New crafting station!
-New variant material/skin for standalone plants (in radial menu)
-New Wisteria trees with purple/white toggle-able colors
-Radial Menu icons
-Some description and labeling fixes
(0.9)
-All materials should now react to rain/weather
-Added Landscape lighting, can toggle on/off and set to auto for sunrise/sunset
-Tons of behind the scenes cleanup, updates should be quicker going forward
(0.85)
-First attempt at rain/snow fx on path materials
-Added about 1GB of flowering bush meshes to soon become placeable items
Things to come:
Some benches/tables and other garden or patio furniture Tweaks for Ark Ascended wind/foliage interaction for flora (in progress)
Hedge snapping
Grassy foundation snapping?
Possibly replicate placing logic of the rail system from Bob's Tall Tales to work with the pathing?
Mod Optimization
**Note: On single player the colorable flowers default to black for some reason, they can be persistently changed, it's just the default that is strange. Not sure if I'll find a fix.
