This mod will allow you to Ban players from your server.
This mod is for use on a Server only! It is not for use in a single-player environment. There is no value in a single-player environment and the mod will shut down if ran in a single-player environment.
To use this mod you will need to setup some ini file settings.
In GameUserSettings.ini you will need to add the following section:
[Bannable] AuthenticAdmins=Admin1Name.Admin1NetID,Admin2Name.Admin2NetID,... FullLockDown=false AdminOnly=false
The above is a minimum example configuration. If you do not list the network ID's of your server admins they will be banned automatically from the server. You will need to get the network ID's for your admins before you install the mod. You can do this by using the 'listplayers' console command while they are logged into the server.
At least one admin MUST be configured before installing the mod.
FullLockDown=true ; This will cause your server to force all players to be kicked from the server (WARNING bodies are destroyed!) AdminOnly=true ; This will cause your server to force any player that is not listed as an AuthenticAdmin to be kicked from the server (WARNING bodies are destroyed!)
An optional option that can be added is a list of players that are to be banned on startup.
ForcedBannedPlayers=Player1Name.Player1NetID,Player2Name.Player2NetID,…
This can be helpful when you're fighting a hacker but requires having their network ID. The name is a convenience.
This mod provides admins with a utility icon in their inventory with a full gui interface to manage player bans live as well as the mods' active configuration and availability for use on the server.
In-game banning can be done by managing online players in the gui or manually entering the player's name and netID if they are already offline. You can get their name and netID by using the listplayers console command or from other server admins.
If a hacker has victimized you I invite you to post their name and netID here for other admins to add to their ban list!!
When a user is banned it will be announced in-game and logged.
