GCD Usage Tracker is a small, lightweight addon that helps you notice downtime during combat. It shows a live idle timer when you’re not pressing abilities and lists your most recent GCD gaps, so you can quickly spot where you’re hesitating, repositioning too long, or simply missing globals.
It’s meant to be simple: you glance at it, adjust, and improve.

---------Why I made this---------
I built this for pushing keys and progression, where the difference is usually uptime. It’s rarely one huge mistake, it’s the small details you don’t notice, a late global after a dodging, a pause before pressing a cooldown, a messy target swap, hesitating during mechanics. Those tiny gaps stack up over an entire run.
I wanted something I could feel in the moment and also review later. The addon shows your idle time and recent gaps right on screen, which makes it great for watching video replays too, you can see exactly where you dropped globals and match it to what you were doing. It’s a simple tool, but it’s really good at exposing the habits that cost you time.
