0.9.1
What's new
0.9.1
(Includes everything from 0.9.0: see changelog_0.9.0.md. Version bumped from 0.9.0 to 0.9.1 in both TOC files.)
- Crit chain now climbs, and "Crit chain 1" is the default crit line. The first crit of a chain plays
Crit chain 1(it replaces Crit.ogg, which stays only as a fallback when there is no Crit chain 1 file); each crit in a row after that plays the next numbered line: "Crit chain 2" ... up to "Crit chain 10", so a long chain gets more and more intense. The number in the file name is the step. Single crits, and crits with the chain turned off, also play Crit chain 1. - After the highest line the chain can hold on the last line (default), loop back to 1, or play random lines. A gap longer than the chain window (3 s by default) starts a new chain at Crit chain 1. The old random behavior is still available as "Random" chain order (Crit chain 1 first, then random lines).
- The crit text climbs too: BIG NUMBER! for the first crit, then HUGE, GIANT, MASSIVE, COLOSSAL, GARGANTUAN, TITANIC, MONSTROUS, COSMIC, APOCALYPTIC for chain steps 2 to 10 (word N = step N; slot 1 is blank = the normal text). All ten words are editable on the Crit Effect tab, and the text grows about 6% per step from step 2 (up to 1.6x), which can be turned off.
- "Preview chain" button and
/zvo test critchain climbplay steps 1 to the highest so you can hear the climb;/zvo test critchain 7plays a single step. - New commands:
/zvo chain mode climb|random,/zvo chain after hold|loop|random,/zvo chain grow on|off./zvo statusshows the chain mode, take count and highest step. - New settings are included in export/import and in "Reset this tab". Existing settings carry over.
- New voice lines for three more classes: Mage, Paladin and Rogue. 141 new spell lines: Mage 55 (Arcane 36, Fire 8, Frost 11), Paladin 53 (Holy 23, Protection 22, Retribution 8) and Rogue 33 (Assassination 11, Combat 10, Subtlety 12). Together with Priest 56 and Warrior 42 that is 239 spell lines across five classes. Every class only plays its own lines.
- Crit chain 1 to 10 are recorded: ten new crit lines, one per chain step, that replace the old single crit sound in everyday play.
Crit.oggstays as the fallback. - Audio: all new clips are studio-cleaned and matched in volume like the existing ones. The addon folder now holds 255 sound files (239 spell lines, 10 crit chain lines, Crit, Loot and 4 test sounds).
- Tools:
make_manifest.pysorts chain takes by number (2 before 10) and warns about gaps.
