ZHelper
ZHelper is a raid utility addon currently built for Augmentation Evoker, with plans to expand into more classes and specs over time.
Its main purpose is to help support-style gameplay by showing a compact priority window with the top 5 DPS or top 5 Healers in your current raid, so you can make faster and smarter decisions during combat.
Right now, the addon is focused on helping Augmentation Evokers manage Prescience more efficiently, but this is only the beginning.
Work in progress
ZHelper is still a work in progress.
The addon is already functional and usable, but it is actively being tested, adjusted, and expanded. Features, behavior, visuals, and supported specs may change as development continues.
The current version is centered on Augmentation Evoker, but the long-term goal is to turn ZHelper into a broader helper addon for additional classes and specs that benefit from smart targeting, buff tracking, or priority support tools.
Current features
- Shows the Top 5 DPS or Top 5 Healers in raid
- Updates live during combat
- Tracks Prescience
- Shows remaining Prescience duration on listed players
- Lets you click players to target them quickly
- Compact, movable UI
- Scalable window
- Spec icons when available
- Class-colored bars
- Minimap button with options
- Support for recent encounter history
- Framework already prepared for future spec expansion
Current focus: Augmentation Evoker
At the moment, ZHelper is mainly designed to help Augmentation Evokers:
- identify the best buff targets during a fight
- react when performance rankings shift
- monitor Prescience uptime
- reapply buffs before they expire
- quickly target important players in the raid
This is especially useful on longer boss fights where the best targets can change over time.
Future plans
ZHelper is being built so more profiles can be added later.
Planned direction includes support for additional specs and classes that benefit from:
- priority targeting
- buff monitoring
- support-oriented decision making
- live raid performance helpers
Data sources
Depending on availability, ZHelper can use:
- WoW built-in meter data
- Details!
- internal fallback tracking
The addon is designed with real-time usefulness as a priority, so it can remain helpful during combat and not only after a fight is over.
Commands
Use:
/zh
/zhelper
or the minimap button, depending on your current build and setup.
Final note
ZHelper is in active development, and feedback is part of what will shape it.
If something feels off, incomplete, or rough around the edges, that is normal for the current stage. The addon is already useful, but it is still growing.
