What's new

ZenKit 1.3.0

Run Breakdown: a new look

  • New header: the dungeon art with the key level, a time bar against the timer (red past the limit when the key is depleted), time left or over, party deaths and the date.
  • Hover the time bar to see this run against your previous one of the dungeon. Click it to compare with any other saved run.
  • "Share" posts the key, its time, the MVP and the titles to your group chat.
  • The Party tab opens with a card for every player in ranking order: their title, why they got it, their #1 facts (kicks, damage, bosses, priority mobs, dispels) and their MVP score. The MVP's card is outlined.
  • Titles come in three tones: praise, neutral and roast. A strip under the cards says why the MVP won.
  • Hover a card, the score or "How it's scored" for a short score card: points per category with plain facts ("733M · #2 in the party", "20 kicks, 12 important").
  • Hover a row of the table to light up that player's card.
  • The highlight cards leave the tank out of "Hit the party hardest" (it was always the auto attack on the tank).
  • Enemy damage and Timeline tabs show a compact MVP strip on top.
  • Timeline: every death is listed under the player who died. The death list from the chart no longer hides under the chips.

Run Breakdown: MVP v10

  • Every damage dealer's death now has one culprit. An avoidable hit is the player's own. A mob's melee hit goes to the tank. A death with nothing avoidable goes to the healer. Each costs the culprit half a death. Deaths right after the tank dies (a wipe) blame no one.
  • A tank's avoidable damage counts 40 %. Tanks often take a mechanic on purpose to help the group.
  • The tank's and healer's targets now come from your own keys of that dungeon, not one fixed bar for every dungeon.
  • The player with the most overall damage earns a bonus of up to +5 points.
  • All titles were rewritten. More jokes, more roasts, puns in English and Russian. New ones include "Aggro is a social construct" (the tank lost two damage dealers to melee), "Heals are in the mail" (two deaths not healed through) and "Groundhog Day" (killed twice by the same spell).
  • Topping two different kinds of facts (for example kicks and damage) earns a combo title such as "One-man army".
  • Super kicker and Lockdown never both appear in the same key.
  • The balance was checked on two million simulated keys built from real runs.

Unit frames

  • Enrages you can remove (Shiv, Soothe, Tranquilizing Shot) now get a ring and glow on enemy target and focus, in their own Enrage color. Classes without such a spell see no change.
  • Aura timers on target and focus are smaller by default (10 px) and show 1m, 2h past a minute instead of long second counts.
  • "Dispellable buffs first", the dispel glow and "Only my debuffs" are on by default again (a settings bug had turned them off).

Party and raid frames

  • The defensives' timers were the game's huge font. They are now 9 px with their own size setting, and show 1m past a minute.
  • Turning "Own picks for (spec)" on or off no longer leaves the settings window empty.
  • Debuffs, Category look: picking a category shows its debuffs on every player of the preview, with its place, size, glow and ring.
  • Ready checks in a raid are lighter: an answer only updates the ready icons.

Zen mode

  • Hide list: ticking "Always" clears the other conditions of that row, and ticking another one clears "Always".
  • Damage numbers and Healing numbers no longer have an "In combat" tile (they only show in combat anyway). A saved "In combat" became "Always".

Chat

  • The sidebar's friends and guild counts are small badges on the icons' corner. No badge when nobody is online.
