Forever: keep the 3D portrait camera when the overlay is rescaled

Following Edit Mode's Frame Size rescales the overlay, and a rescaled
PlayerModel resets its camera. The portrait is redrawn with its camera
settings (forced XPerl_Unit_UpdatePortrait) a frame after each rescale.

Forever: separate part spots for Buffs on Top

The raised portrait, class icon and level recorded with Buffs on Top had
gone into the base layout, so they stayed up with it off. Layouts now
keep onTop spots, used (over the base ones) only while buffsOnTop is set,
plus the whole-layer offset. The base layout is back to the previous
spots. Saves (version 2) write only the mode being shown; an older save
made with Buffs on Top set counts as that mode's spots.

Forever: ship the Buffs on Top offset and the raised portrait

Recorded with /zperl layout: the whole layer 16 units lower while Buffs
on Top is set; portrait, class icon and level 5 units higher. Creature
type and boss box follow the class icon.

Forever: group selection in /zperl layout

Dragging over empty screen draws a selection box (a catcher frame one
strata under the handles); Shift or Ctrl adds to the group, a click on
empty screen clears it. Arrows, the wheel and dragging a member move the
whole group; typed numbers still go to the panel's box, shown orange.

Forever: whole-layer vertical offset for Buffs on Top

The artdump showed Buffs on Top moves nothing of Blizzard's frame (art,
portrait and bars stay put; buffsOnTop is the right flag), so the learned
art shift is gone. Instead the layout keeps buffsOnTopY, a vertical offset
for every part applied only while buffsOnTop is set, edited in /zperl
layout through a "whole frame" bar (arrows, wheel, typed Y). A save
without the bar keeps the earlier offset.

Forever: artdump survives secret anchor counts

The aura container's GetNumPoints is secret ("'for' limit must be a
number"). Counts and anchor fields go through Plain and each piece is
described inside a pcall, so one failure no longer stops the dump.

Forever: /zperl artdump records Blizzard's target frame geometry

Buffs on Top did not move the overlay in game: the buffsOnTop flag or the
container's movement was wrong. The dump keeps each piece's edges and
anchors and the frame's flags in conf.target.blizzArtDump[label], to
compare Buffs on Top on and off.

Forever: overlay moves with Blizzard's art for Buffs on Top

Buffs on Top shifts TargetFrameContainer inside TargetFrame. Layout spots
are now offset by how far the container sits from its normal spot, which
is learned (and saved as conf.blizzArtSpot) whenever buffsOnTop is off.
The layout editor works in the unshifted coordinates.

Forever: overlays follow Edit Mode's Frame Size and Use Larger Frame

The overlay's scale now comes from the Blizzard frame's width on screen
against the layout's recorded span (239.3 units for the 232-wide frame),
so a larger frame scales it too, not only Frame Size. It re-fits when the
Blizzard frame is rescaled or resized, when Edit Mode closes and on
EDIT_MODE_LAYOUTS_UPDATED. The editor saves the span with the layout.

Forever: ship the third recorded target layout

Recorded with /zperl layout at a 0.969 ratio to Blizzard's frame: smaller
portrait, class icon on its top right corner, level under it. Creature
type takes the class icon's spot for NPCs, the boss box below it (not
    recorded yet).

Forever: focus frame laid over Blizzard's focus frame

XPerl_Focus gets the target's treatment when the client has FocusFrame:
kept Blizzard frame, shared shipped layout and ratio, click-through, its
own aura icons hidden, PLAYER_FOCUS_CHANGED registered there and re-fitting
on it, parts in the /zperl layout editor. Blizzard's focus target is
hidden and Z-Perl's shows no auras. Options hide the focus scale and the
focus and focus-target aura settings on Forever.

Author: Chairface30 <chairfaceserverop@gmail.com>
Date:   Mon Oct 12 11:30:30 2026 -0400

Forever: target sized by Blizzard's frame, ToT standalone, aura settings hidden

The target overlay's scale is now its layout's ratio (recorded 1.115)
times Blizzard's target frame scale; the editor saves that ratio. The
target of target goes back to its own frame with Blizzard's hidden, and
it and its target show no auras. Debuff highlight is off over Blizzard's
frame. On Forever the options hide Target Scale, the target's buff,
debuff and highlight settings and the target of target's buff settings.

Forever: ship the revised target layout, merge saved and shipped spots

Recorded again with /zperl layout: larger portrait, level, creature type
and boss box in a column right of it; the class icon takes the creature
type's spot for players. Layouts now apply part by part, a saved spot
over the shipped one, so a partial saved layout keeps the other parts.

Forever: target of target over Blizzard's, click-through overlays

XPerl_TargetTarget is laid over TargetFrameToT like the target over
TargetFrame (shared XPerl_PlaceOverBlizzard, layout per frame, ToT parts
in the /zperl layout editor), with its own aura icons hidden so
Blizzard's ToT debuffs show; showTargetOfTarget is turned on if off.
Both overlays now take no mouse input, so clicks reach Blizzard's frames
and nothing of Z-Perl's needs handling in combat.

Forever: ship the hand-placed target layout

Recorded with /zperl layout: name, stats, portrait, level and class icon
spots from TargetFrame's top left. A layout saved in the profile still
    wins over it.

Forever: layout panel with typed numbers and arrow-key bumps

    Clicking a part's box selects it; a panel shows its X, Y, W and H to type
over, and the arrow keys bump it a unit (Shift resizes, Ctrl ten units).
Other keys pass through to the game; the panel stops taking keys in
combat, where key passing can't be changed. A Save button ends editing.

Forever: /zperl layout, hand-placed target frame parts

Each part of XPerl_Target gets a handle to drag, resize or nudge; the
    spots ({x, y, w, h} from TargetFrame's top left, in the part's units) are
saved in conf.target.blizzLayout and replace the measured fit. A shipped
layout (XPerl_Target_ShippedLayout) can be filled in from a recorded one.

Forever: size the Z-Perl target frame to cover Blizzard's art

Uniform scaling left Blizzard's bar backing, portrait ring and level badge
showing. The art's extent is now measured from the textures of
TargetFrameContainer and the Z-Perl parts are sized to it at the user's
own scale: portrait square as tall as the art, stats box filling the
height, name and stats filling the width. Aura icons seen above or below
cap the area. Portrait and stats sizes are put back after Z-Perl's own
resizing, in combat too; position and widths change out of combat only.

Forever: lay the whole Z-Perl target frame over Blizzard's

Replaces the portrait square. XPerl_Target shows again, pinned to
TargetFrame's top left one strata above it and scaled to fit the area
from there down to the top of Blizzard's aura container, so Blizzard's
buffs and debuffs stay visible below. Z-Perl's own target aura icons are
hidden; the portrait border turns gold for elites. Fitting runs out of
combat: on Set_Bits, target change and combat end.
