YuxtaUI_MDH (Misdirection & Tricks Helper)

YuxtaUI_MDH is an ultra-lightweight, automated utility designed specifically for Hunters and Rogues in World of Warcraft. It streamlines the management of your Misdirection and Tricks of the Trade macros by automatically dynamically targeting tanks in group content and cleaning up your macro when returning to solo play.

🛠️ How It Works

YuxtaUI_MDH generates and manages a dedicated macro named MDH_Macro directly in your Per-Character Macro tab (saving global macro slots).

1. Install the addon and log into your Hunter or Rogue.
2. Open your Macro menu (/macro) and drag the newly created MDH_Macro to your action bar.
3. As you join groups, enter dungeons, or target players, the addon updates the internal logic of MDH_Macro on the fly without breaking during combat lockouts.

💻 Slash Commands

Access options or update your target target manually at any time using the quick chat commands:

• /ymdh or /yuxtamd — Opens the Minimap Dropdown Menu.
• /ymdh <PlayerName> — Directly assigns <PlayerName> to your macro target.

⚙️ Configuration & Options

Clicking the Minimap Icon opens an intuitive menu where you can toggle:

• Auto-Set Tank in Instance: Automatically search and set group tanks upon zoning in.
• Auto-Clear on Leave: Automatically reset to @mouseover / @pet when leaving instances or disbanding groups.
• Entry Reminder Popup: Enable or disable the prompt window when zoning into new areas.
