File Name

XPSplash_v1.7.zip

Supported Versions

  • 12.0.7

1.7

  • Added {pctComplete} and {pctCompleteInt} placeholders showing your current standing in the level after a gain, distinct from {pctOfLevel} which shows the size of that one gain
  • Rewrote the hint text inside the text-edit popup to explain what each placeholder means in plain language, instead of just listing names

1.6

  • Added {pctOfLevelInt} and {pctToNextInt} placeholders — whole-number versions of the existing percentage placeholders, for cleaner text without decimals

1.5

  • Fixed: clicking Save in the text-edit popup did nothing (window wouldn't close, text wouldn't save)
  • Replaced the built-in popup system with a self-built one that renders above everything, including the Settings window, so it can no longer end up unreachable

1.4

  • Fixed: clicking Move was unusable because the Settings window covered the splash and blocked dragging
  • Move now closes the Settings window automatically, shows a visible drag target with an on-screen "Save Position" button, and reopens Settings afterward

1.3

  • Splash text on both lines is now fully custom, using placeholders: {xp} {pctOfLevel} {pctToNext} {level}
  • Added font selection (4 built-in typefaces), independent font size per line, and a color picker for each line
  • Replaced the fixed vertical-offset slider with free-form drag-to-position — unlock, drag anywhere on screen, lock in place

1.2

  • Added a Test/Preview button directly in the settings panel

1.1

  • Added an in-game settings panel (Esc → Options → AddOns → XP Splash, or /xpsplash config) with sliders and a checkbox for threshold, timing, and sound

1.0

  • Initial release
  • Monitors XP gains and shows a fading splash banner when a single gain exceeds a configurable threshold (default 5%) of the current level's XP
  • Configurable fade in / hold / fade out timing and optional sound alert
  • Slash commands: /xpsplash test, threshold, sound, status
